BBC article on the risks of crowdfunding: www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-34832447The particular case discussed is that of the Zano micro-drone, which has abruptly and depressingly imploded. The majority of 'Have Your Say' comments on this article (only about 50 at this particular moment, as the article just went up) are surprisingly dismissive of backers and the overall view is that backers should know the risks they take and so should DEAL WITH IT if it all goes wrong. It seems KS campaign owners are accountable for nothing. This attitude is going to be the downfall of crowd-funding platforms.

I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.

Incredibly informative links Matthew, thanks for collating these. (snip)No problem, Crumpy! Gamasutra is an excellent site for a wide range of developer insights and opinions but I find that it's equally insightful for non-devs as well.
