You know, I never even knew that was there. Thanks for pointing it out Roumsen. I actually discovered a thread through it that I somehow managed to miss. If you're on the forum as much as I am it doesn't really matter though. Maybe you should just visit more frequently Matthew Allen. Yeah, but you also just proved my point in your first line. So take that! *doesn't comment on your second line* *realizes that was a comment...*

Now that most activity is being moved back to the general Godus board, can I suggest a review of the sticky threads and sub-forums in this section?
Personally, I dislike both sub-boards and pinned threads. The sub-boards add a header to the page which is extra bumpf to scroll past in order to get to the discussion content. When I first open the General Discussion board, nothing on my screen is an active Godus thread. All I can see are sub-boards and then the GenesisVR sticky. Also, sub-boards tend to have extremely low traffic - the Ratings and Reviews boards have 6 and 5 threads respectively, and it's been over 6 months since either was last active. In addition to that, a glut of recent Godus Wars reviews got merged and pinned on the main board rather than put on the Reviews board, so even management aren't promoting the intended use of this board.
Now that Godus itself is only one section of the overall forums, would it make more sense for each of these nested sub-boards to become front-page boards in the Godus section? Ratings and Reviews could probably be combined (if these even need their own boards at all - the post volume suggests not).
Presently, the General Discussion board has 5 pinned threads (not counting the Genesis one). This feels fairly conservative, but I still think it's too many (browsing on a phone, it's another full screen to scroll past to get to the active board content). Sticky threads create an immediate impression of inactivity. They are the first threads anyone encounters on the board, and other than the Tweets thread and the recently-pinned Review thread, they are all pretty inactive. I don't think we need 'Moved Posts' pinned any more. I don't know why 'General Godus Discussion' is a pinned thread of its own, when the whole board is supposed to be for this purpose. The Goodwill meter still gets updated occasionally but is it really important enough to be a sticky?
The Open Board was clearly becoming the most popular place for general Godus discussion, because it allowed unregistered members to participate. it was also more appealing to use because it lacked a huge header of stickies/subs. It would be good to get the same energy going in the General board, but right now it's a little cluttered.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions Crumpy Six. I was planning on having a closer look at things anyway, so I will take your feedback into consideration. I will have to find a balance between clutter on the main page and clutter on the godus board. With any luck I will be able to keep them both mostly clutterless.

I agree with Crumpy. it has a much better flow to it.
Since you're on a roll, maybe a short sticky in this section with a preamble explaining why this forum came into existence in the first place and a short summary of its evolution might be nice for new users discovering it or being driven here for various reasons.

I've been thinking about doing that for months! (I'm such a procrastinator ) I will probably do it soonus, but right now I'm working diligently on the kickstarter updates. Only 61 more to go.

Kind of funny how just as this place got tidied up, the Steam boards got redesigned in the most appalling, unusably horrible way. Every board completely rammed with empty or near-empty sticky threads, and even when people do try to engage with this format, more often than not they get told they've posted in the wrong place.
