Anybody have any fun, exciting, beautiful, boring, ugly or otherwise interesting Godus screenshots they'd like to share? I don't have any really good ones, but here's one of mine. Seems like a nice little place to live. If you don't think about the necessities like food and stuff, or tidal waves approaching your beach home.

sad, according to reports of fruitpad store "$5 for 100 gems, $10 = 240 $20 = 500 $50 = 1300 $100 = 2800" so, exactly as last Sept. no change or deviation.

Except that they you can now buy even more apparently. Let's not derail the thread. Anyone got some screenshots to share? Come on, who sculpted a dick or something?

OMG! Those "Click an abode to send out a Builder" messages on top of your screenshots are driving me nuts. And I'm not even playing the game!

Yeah they really want me to build, and I really don't want to use up wheat. I'm kinda fighting back against the game as much as I can while I play

When I started this particular game, I knew that the wheat requirement would come up, so I built as many abodes as I could before unlocking the wheat requirement. As you can see from my screenshots I could have built more abodes than I did, but I also wanted to keep some of the character of the landscape. I could have continued further onto the map before unlocking settlements, but I did want a farm (I do enjoy the town setting) so when I was ready I unlocked the card.
Things moved along nicely before farms unlocked - then ground to a complete crawl. I enjoy sculpting (though I wish I could create more and not destruct so much) but I only get a few mins of sculpting before I have to wait for belief again. And wait for cards to unlock. Chests appearing during storms helps provide enough stickers that I'm not stuck there any more, but it drives me bonkers that the chests appear under the ground and I have to dig everything up to find them. I also wish I could have upgraded my abodes before unlocking settlements, but unfortunately those are locked by wheat requirements.
The restrictions built into the game irritate me (my fiancé keeps asking why I'm playing, given how much I don't seem to like the game) but I keep playing because there *is* something there I like.
...Not sure if I really answered your question there.

Well what I meant was if you enjoyed fighting against the game mechanics or were annoyed because you had to fight against the game mechanics. When I played Godus I used to like fighting against the mechanics. I sort of felt like "fuck off with your settlements, I'm sculpting". In a later version the fighting intensified as 22Cans programmed all kinds of audiovisual annoyances into the game to attempt to force me to play their way. (like the wung wung wung sound and the continuously flashing icons but most importantly the continuously occuring messages on top of the screen) So how do you feel about fighting against the game mechanics? Have you surrendered yet? EDIT: I just noticed how much I come across as a shrink here with my avatar in combination with my post.

where's the couch? Mostly annoyed that I have to fight against the game mechanics. I liked being able to fight against the wheat requirement for a while, but you end up losing that fight in the end. I haven't surrendered - I'm determined to play this how I want to (given the game limitations anyway.)

Just saw in "rate GODUS" screenshot, 22Cans refers to itself as indie. Can you really be independent when you have a publisher, particularly one with the level of influence DeNA apparently has over 22Cans?

All I can say, is you have a lot of sheep for 20 hours of play. I have over 600 and not close to that many sheep. Whatcha doin with all those sheep, eh? LOL.

The latest version seems to default all farmer buildings to having sheep around them

This screenshot is from version "122" from last week. I got bored waiting for the first day long timer, so I decided to pretty up the mountain where you get the Meteor power. When building this I came to the realization that yes, sculpting is zen-like, but with a huge caveat: sculpting is only "zen-like" once you have enough belief that you don't have to worry about how much you spend. I didn't track the exact amount, but the pyramid cost between 2 and 2.5 mil belief to build.

Did anyone else here ever get the "Black Abode" bug? Oh, look, they're socializing around a camp fire. Great... um, where are the builders? Oh, here they are... socializing. Instead of working. Ok, everyone, back on the pile! Who has the bucket of lube?
