Yes, you are correct. "Bag of dicks" did seem to imply that all the 22Cans employees are dicks and that was the wrong message.
I find Matthew's PR speak very tiresome but I think he probably means well. I like George, and beleive that he is going to try to do the job he told us he is supposed to be doing (but he's being hampered by the BS his employer is feeding him, and lets face it, the rest of us have been dealing with that for the last 6 months or more). All of the devs are just programmers who wanted to be in the games industry, doing their jobs. Most of them probably don't read forums at all. I certainly don't trawl the internet to see what people are saying about my firm.
Peter Molyneux is the real bag of dicks in the heart of 22Cans (I might be getting my anatomy wrong here but I was just at a beer festival so forgive me). He's the one behind all the lies, all the broken promises, all the F2P mechanics and P2W bollocks and ""Dungeon Keeper was greedy and got it wrong but we're so clever we came up with this way of doing microtransactions, it's so smart and cool, people will barely even ntoice them, it will feel like just buying into your hobby like an investment into fun."
Honestly I haven't even played Godus for ages. Someone is gonna have to tell me when and if it's ever any good.

I love that this tread isn't locked and no one is getting banned. The phrase "a bag of dicks" suggests that everyone in the bag is a dick. Seriously though I do have sympathy for some key people - jack, Matthew, George and even Muir. They aren't bad people but they are part of something very evil in the gaming world. It is a very dark day when you promise what they did and deliver a free to play cow clicker port or an iOS game. I have no disdain for anyone at 22Cans except for Peter Molyneux. (so far) So I guess I'd be speaking of a bag of lovely little balls and one monstrous dick. ....and please people. let us not forget the stroking that PM loves so much, especially when speaking of lovely little balls and a monstrous dick.

This thread has nothing on some of the things that get said here at work. LOL I am just glad that the 22Cans people that come here understand what the boards are about and roll with the punches. Of course if Peter stopped by he would probably have a heart attack and not think this board was delicious.

(not that I wish him dead) I'd be interested in seeing PM's honest, candid, unfiltered response to the question: How do you feel about the reaction of the community surrounding recent events? I'd more call them a bunch of kitten all laying belly up, waiting to be scratched on the belly. You know they have good intentions, you also know it's a bad idea. But the temptation is too strong to resist and the instant you reach down for some fluffy goodness you are filled with tiny, painful puncture marks and regret that eventually turns you off kittens forever.

I would really like his answer to that question as well. I have to wonder if he just does not go on any board or read any review and is his own mind every thing is great and we are all happy.

Exactly, I feel he has kind of an "If I don't see it, it isn't there" way of thinking about the community and their issues.

I think it's more along the lines of "If they can't share my visions, then they do not exist."
I would hate to know he besmirched the board with his presence.

If Peter showed up and said, "Yes, Godus always was a P2W mobile game. I have no intention of ever fulfilling my obligations to the kickstarter backers beyond the semblance of text, barley beyond not litigate-able. Live with it." I would forgive him and at least respect him. Not that it would make a mote of dif. on how I respond mind you. But Christian duty, repentance, and all.

I'd rather take the pagan viewpoint & poke him in the eye with a sharp stick.
