Had to increase mine to one with FuriousMoo and other Devs around and the fact Peter has left Godus for now.

Makes you wonder who the 9 and 8 holdouts are, heh. I'll keep mine at 2 for now. Moo may have fabulous intentions, but he still works for Peter.

So funny how new mods and CMs now and then give some people enough to believe in 22cans again. Pretty naive, sorry.

I'm thinking of decreasing it to 0 since Raspofabs was snatched away and the only people from 22Cans who provided any enjoyment associated with Godus (which is bad, since it's the game that should provide enjoyment) have left.

My goodwill is at 2, probably down 2 after PC sprints finished for this year.

Mines on zero. It's been higher but I'm not going to raise it again until I have a better idea what resources will remain on godus and what autonomy furious moo will have to make decisions and modify the present state. If I see him start to rip features out and narrow the focus to single player it will go a long way to boosting my confidence. Unfortunately we probably won't see any evidence of those kinds of changes for 2-3 months at the earliest.

If we get a new poll, there should be an option for something like "6, but only because PM has handed over the reins"

If we get a new poll, there should be an option for something like "6, but only because PM has handed over the reins" There is exactly zero chance that PM is going to allow the team the resources they need to fix Godus up. Also, over the following months the team allocated to Godus is going to become increasingly demoralised by the lack of enthusiasm shown to the product by the senior management team. 22Cans has referred to itself time and time again as a "small team" and a one-product company. I guess that means one product at a time in reality. The backers paid for PM to make a product. He has literally half-finished it (or is it more than 50% complete these days?) before getting bored and moving on. Honestly though, the half he did do was so crap it doesn't matter much to me personally that he abandoned it. I only hope he's learned enough from the whole experience to stay the hell away from Early Access.

I honestly don't know how many developers it takes to ruin err develop a good god game.

We can probably deduce it when they announce who's working on The Trail. I'm sure PM will let this kind of info slip when he's trying to hype it up in interviews.
According to the 22Cans website, there are 7 developers at the studio. On Steam, Muir said Dimitri was one of the first to be moved on to The Trail. Fabs has said he's going to be working on it too. That's two of the more senior developers already confirmed to be working on the new project - and don't forget Godus development was once delayed by several weeks due to lack of availability of Dimitri, who seems to be the key person responsible for the AI.
If the primary AI developer is now on The Trail we can forget about the B&W-style familiar that was promised.
Anyway, that's only the ones we know about. It's not looking good for Godus.

Just because some people are going to be working on something else doesn't mean that they won't ever be back on godus to handle certain things.

Got to say the AI to me has seemed to be a underworked area for some time. Maybe someone can take up the slack (for lack of a better word) and even give it fresh impetus.

Just because some people are going to be working on something else doesn't mean that they won't ever be back on godus to handle certain things. We're talking about a studio that continually repeated, ad nauseum, that they didn't have the man-power to spare for any side projects while they were working on Godus Mobile, so I suppose we'll see if that's true or not. Also, I suppose the reverse of your statement could be true. Just because some people aren't officially moved to The Trail team, doesn't mean that they'll be exempt from being tasked with Trail related work on a whim from PM. Time will tell.

Disappeared from these forums for a few months. Wondered what was going on in the world of Godus. Came back. Read some posts. Not happy. Went to lower the good will score. It was already at "0". Any chance we could introduce some minus numbers?

I remain on 1, just in case FuriousMoo can pull a rabbit out of his hate - but I've pretty much given up hope on Godus and remain very skeptical of anything 22cans produces while Peter is at the helm.
