Algeria is giving Germany a run for their money. First team to score will probably win the game.

rubgish, engarde, Qetesh: I'm playing with the idea of awarding more than 1 or 3 points for correct prediction of the finale. Perhaps something like 3 or 5 points for a correct outcome and 10 or 15 points if you predict the exact score? What do you guys think about this. I will not be implementing any changes unless all of us can reach a consensus on this, so if any one of you says no it will not be done. If you do like the idea, what kind of values do you think we should award?

Then everybody who got it right will receive those points, just like it is now. It'll just be more points for the final match. Sort of like a chance for the people who are not in the lead to still catch up. So it'll be a bit more exciting for everyone so to speak. But it's just an idea.

I'm fine with any changes, it's all just a bit of fun! Plus i'll need 15 points for a perfect finals prediction to have any chance of winning thanks to me missing some games and my terrible predictions up till now.

I see no reason to change the weighting now.

Fuck Fuck Fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tim Howard rocked, but did not have much of a team playing with him till the last 15 minutes when some decided to show and play. Goodbye USA.

Yeah. Bye bye USA. It was a hell of a match. Especially the extra time.

Looks like I won the competition guys. Guess it's now a battle of honor for Qetesh and engarde.

Surely with the bonus 10 points for a picking the winner we can still match/pass you with the remaining matches? Ah I'd forgotten who two had picked...

I like to think that this is more like a game of Hearts and the lowest score is the best score...*cough*

Hmmh Qetesh I know your locked entry mentions an intention to switching to Netherlands but it's actually open to interpretation... Not that we can catch his nibs anyway. You see it says you are going to change and might change again, not that you have changed!

You see it says you are going to change and might change again, not that you have changed! NO, LOL. I changed my pick to NL and said i would not guarantee I would not change it again, but that deadline passed and so I was locked into NL also. Which is all well and good with me, or I would have changed it.
