What the heck kind of God complex does the Geminu'tite have anyway? He is moving posts and threatening to delete posts on 22cans today. In a time where his posters are already upset and full of piss and vinegar he is micromanging the crap out of the place. I am starting to think they picked him to help push the posters off the board. If they did, it is working.

I went through my inbox and had 20 mails from him threatening various things from delete my posts to suspension... If you really want to wind him up just address him a MuirDH. that always gets him in a rage... The sad thing is he doesn't get that his behaviour as a moderator is having a negative effect on our behaviour... It's interesting actually that the 2 active mod on the board U-Bird and G-Bird have totally different approaches, U-Bird achieves his objectives via mutual respect whereas G-Bird expects his word to be final and demands respect. U-Bird is a successful moderator and G-Bird on the whole doesn't really carry a great amount of respect and is very inefficient in his role.

I totally agree. This is why, even in the thick of the most heated debates I was always willing to hear out Umbra. I just cannot respect a Mod that thinks putting a muzzle on people works. It will in fact make them eventually bite that hand and scream twice as loud. They should have allowed the backers to vote for at least one of their mods. That way they would feel like they still had a say in some ways.

Yes, me and Mum were just talking about this if you want to move our posts, I for one won't be offended, but can't say for him.

From steam forums. Seems like somebody grew tired of looking at a full page of negative comments.

I hope you guys won't see me as the bad guy mod but it just so happens that I have just created a topic on this so I'm moving these couple of posts over there.

There is a total difference of merging threads to keep a clean forum than what G-bird is doing. He is stating things are irrelevant to squash ideas he does not want heard on the board and moving them to places where many posters won't even take a glance.

Question, is this on the 22cans forum, or the steam forums? If it's on steam.. well.. meh. I don't care about that part. I'm asking, because I can directly contact Muir about this behaviour, ask reasoning and such. For the time being, I recommend following the forum guideline as what to do when you disagree with moderation actions, contact sam at Sam@22cans.com I am not saying I disagree with Muir at this time, I understand you guys are miffed, but I do not know the situation. Perhaps I would have done the same. Dunno yet. Edit; Reviewed the warning given in the thread, and the moving of topic on the 22cans forum. In fairness, I also hesitated to move the 'pick me uper' music, but decided against it later on. I can see why Geminu/Muir did not. It is a matter of choice. As for the warning to remain on topic... *shrug* I can't quite see why there would be a warning when there indeed, no longer is a topic. Oh well.

It was on 22Cans forum. The links are in my previous posts. I'm not gonna complain to Sam or Geminutite about it. I'm just laughing my ass off here.

I did make an honest attempt to explain why moving that one thread was actually detrimental to his own cause.

Well.. the steam forums.. let's just say they are 'different'. I contacted sam about the moderation there, and he said it was under control. So, seeing as I ain't a moderator there, it doesn't interest me much. That is not to say, I do not care about the people there.

I haven't visited the Steam forums yet. I'll leave that to others. Right now I'm thinking about looking up some of the really old threads on the 22Cans forum. The ones before things went to shit when people still believed in Godus and came forth with brilliant ideas for the game. Maybe it's worth reposting some of that stuff here.

I do not go to the Steam forums much, but have been checking out the Godus one there of late. Because the 22cans one was so dead and from what I have read there they are a lot more volatile then a Devs forums in general not just for Godus. So I would feel kind of sorry for anyone that tries to mod on that forums.
