Well i've been somewhat ignoring the forums because until 22cans put out anything new, I don't really see the point in doing/saying anything. They already have a shit-ton of our suggestions and I don't think anything we do/say will make them any more likely to implement them at the moment, so i'm just waiting. As for the thread, probably not worth keeping as a sticky, doesn't seem like many mobile players come here at all. They seem to prefer stuff like facebook instead ( www.facebook.com/groups/godus4chat/)

Dang I dont think Ive ever "played out" a game so fast before. How often have they been adding content or fixing the beacons? Going by past experiences - I'd say that actual content gets added about every 3 months. Though the quality and quantity of the content has varied from time to time and we've also had area's of no-communications whatsoever. Aswell as a few brief bursts of successive content releases. On the whole, don't expect a significant amount of content any time soon. Even if a content injection is going to come, it will not be likely to drastically change your game experience from what it is right now. Perhaps a few more cards of a beacon gets added. Perhaps a new mechanic gets introduced or an existing one altered/polished. If you're looking for an increase in content equivalent to what you've played so far. It is more than likely that you'll have to wait 6~12 months. That is, unless 22cans suddenly decides to alter their development schedule.

I wonder if it would hurt Apples feel-goods to know 22cans is throwing them under the bus with Godus' iOS8 problems. herpderp

Wow, a single world wipe and this is the response. Imagine if they had to restart every few months or so when new content was added =P

You can fool all the mobile players some of the time, and some of the mobile players all the time, but you cannot fool all the mobile players all the time if your game is broken at its core in the worst ways.

Wow, a single world wipe and this is the response. Imagine if they had to restart every few months or so when new content was added =P World wipe may be annoying, but it's perfectly acceptable for a game in beta. So it can require a wipe for every single release on PC, as far as I'm concerned, and I'm fine with that. But it's not in beta on mobile, and players had absolutely zero warning. (this is what happens when you release beta software as complete)

(this is what happens when you release beta software as complete) Exactly. I find it fraggin' hilarious 22cans in essence tried to turn around and blame Godus' mobile problems on iOS8 for "being in beta". Business as usual folks. Nothing to see here.

What I don't get about the save issue is that it's online only on mobile right? So why don't the servers store the latest version of people's home world? Ok interested to see what kind of restitution 22cabs offer selected players. I'm guessing people won't settle for a few gems. This is the problem with monetising people's time, if you waste it you have to pay for it.

Im sure the introduction of the Ark update to mobile will be very interesting to witness. [conspiracytheory]They purposefully didn't alter their code so that a lot of people would lose their progression, that way it'd take them longer to get to and complete the ARC/ARK buying 22cans more time to produce more updates[/conspiracytheory] Now wouldn't that be typical. ;p

The Arc addition is... meh. The new world is interesting. Different land types for mining and farming etc. I wish you could load more into the arc though. There really is no benefit in maxing out the first world before moving to the next since there is a cap on how much you can transfer.
My biggest complaint is the voyages. You really need them to get any significant amounts of stickers and they are all just "tightrope walking" scenarios. (How fast can you sculpt a line from A to B? Opps! Start over!) Not what attracted me to this game at all. They did change the clock and the rewards system but I think they need to just dump them.

I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.

And for each next level, the ball will go faster ?

You can always rely on the 22cans cure-all solution though - gems!

You can always rely on the 22cans cure-all solution though - gems! Ok, if I can skip all those little games with gems, that's fantastic I know... they should give more gems for a peasan sacrificed, a miner sacrificed, an Astari sacrificed(so those could at least be useful). I start to get tired to make chains of hundreeds of followers to go to the pit of Doom. Help? Let's find others ways to make gems(so I can skip those repetitive game). Already seen: to mine special areas, to find some in chests... any other ideas? Link your account to facebook? I know it's an "amazing" way and idea to get some, and if I don't have any facebook account, to invite "my friends" so as to get gems etc?

Someone should start selling tee shirts with "Fuck gems!" printed in large font. But wouldn't fucking gems be traumatizing?
