Whisky like that is probably the best investment to make atm. Provided you are strong enough not to open it ofcourse. The price is bound to go up, give it a few years and it may well be worth double Verstuurd vanaf mijn GT-N7100 met Tapatalk Yeah the problem is I can't buy enough bottles of scotch in order to resist opening them.

Well what if you would spend the same amount of money you're spending on the splurge, let's say the 8500 EUROS bottle of scotch, on a charity as well, would that make it okay? I like the way you think! This is something I thought about doing, should I ever be in the situation when money is not much of a concern anymore. For every luxury I treat myself with, I spend the same on charity. It puts things in perscpective and makes you think how lucky you are to be in such a position. I don't know if that makes it okay, there will be people who'll say: "Yeah, nice of you, but if you hadn't bought it, you could have donated twice the money" But at the moment I don't have to waste any thought on this, let's see what the future has in store for me.

Indeed I don't have to worry about any of that right now. Earlier this evening there was a guy at the door selling teeny bouguets of flowers to help raise money for some agricultural school to be built because the city wouldn't fund it. They were suggested at 10 euros for a bouguet. I had to tell him that I unfortunately have less than 2 euros in my wallet at the moment.
