Agreed. Let's hand it over and get the ball back in their court.
Matthew/George (assuming either of you are bothering to keep up with this thread), can we have an ETA on when this video might happen? Given the nature of the questions and the driving forces behind this whole fiasco, it would pretty ironic if we have to wait another 6 weeks or 4 months to get a response.

I think We've done far more than could be expected and the list is comprehensive enough to send off. So, fire away; Volley and Serve. Let's see if they return volley, dodge the ball, or spike it into the sand. Agreed. Let's hand it over and get the ball back in their court. Given the nature of the questions and the driving forces behind this whole fiasco, it would pretty ironic if we have to wait another 6 weeks or 4 months to get a response. My prediction is they'll take about 2-3 weeks at least to get the video out - not just based on past instances where they promised or mentioned doing a video update, and how dodgy they get when we present questions - because Jack said as much in his reply to @gmr_Leon. So, if we turn them in today, the weekend won't count in that total (again, based on past experience), therfore we're probably not likely to see it until somewhere around close to mid-October. Hopefully they at least let us know during that time if they are working through it, or possibly even answer a few of the "easier" questions/concerns.

If anyone wants to review my little preface message to Peter and Jack and the like, I've got a rough version here. I think it mostly works, but any changes/additions you'd like to see, I'll definitely take into consideration. Following that, I think I'll send it off.

Gmr Leon, I really respect the effort you've put into this and the time you've taken to collate our queries. Maybe 22Cans should pay you for this, since this whole thing about collecting community questions and getting responses was meant to be the job of the CMs? If you get a good response, maybe they can fire George and Matthew and you can be the new CM! (That's some free effectiveness consultancy for you, 22Cans. See, you're getting pro bono services from all over the place.)

Sounds reasonable to me. Hoping 22cans will be reasonable in return. <insert skeptical quip here>

Good to hear. Last minute changes I've made: Modified the Hey line to include reference to the entire dev team. Added vv [FuMM]'s/ColourFil's question about the dev cam, but also added in my own little query regarding which backer rewards and parts of Kickstarter are considered fulfilled by this point. Aside from those, if everyone think it's ready to wrap up in pdf format to send off to the CMs, I'll get right on it. Yo Matthew Allen, you wanna run another sweep over this before I send it? I know things have already/are probably in the process of winding down over at 22cans, so this will probably go into weekend stasis, but...

Not to toss a last minute wrench in the machine, but should we (dare we) add a question reference about the Kickstarter new terms of contract and if/how it (may) affects Godus, and will 22cans uphold it or maintain the prior terms? Someone will need to word it better, because I haven't the brain power atm. Of course we might want to avoid it for nownso as not to railroad and sidetrack the whole endeavor with this recent development.

Considering how very recent it is, would they really have a reasonable response other than, "We intend to fulfill all Kickstarter goals in the fullness of time."?

True. I guess we can sideline any of the most recent development questions for the next inquisition.

Does the fullness of time mean September 2013? Coz that's the original delivery date that was set.

Id like to suggest that if this effort, which I applaud gmr for undetaking, amounts to nothing we go to steam itself. We have enough evidence of us trying to be civil, reasonable, and direct in attempting to get answers from 22can on the steam forums, here and directly by email, all of which has so far amounted to less than a fart in a windstorm. Steam has taken action against EA games that do not properly inform and communicate with their buyers and communities, often resulting in the game being taken down and refunds given. If believe Stomping Ground is one such example of a game with similar circumstances as Godus.
Gmr, I hate to say it but I would start compiling a case that backers have not been treated with respect or properly communicated to, amd the Godus undermines the EA spirit and Steam customers, thus hurting not only steam customers, but steam itself. It would also be worth mentioning that some backers have not yet recieved their rewards from kickstarter (or they were not meeting expectations) and other general promises have been broken (see lies thread for examples).
if such a case is made I would for sure back the effort to shed light on this whole ordeal and finally see a resolution, whether its good for 22cans or not.

The thing is... How much time will they need - how much time is reasonable? When should we be expecting responses and results?
Whatever happens, it'll be weeks, probably months before we can see any tangible results...
