I play Godus on my iPad. A couple of days ago it updated itself and I seem to have lost my progress in the game. Not only that, but now there is no pink bubble in the bottom corner and no cards along the top. I seem to have some gems but when I buy belief the number of gems goes down but there is still no pink bubble. I have read some of the posts but they seem to be written in some sort of game speak that I don't understand.
if I unload the game from my iPad and start again will I have lost all my progress and consequently all the money I've spent so far?
I don't really mind starting again as I can do things differently but the lack of info on the screen is a bit disconcerting.

You probably should submit a support ticket directly with 22Cans; 22cans.zendesk.com/hc/en-usMake sure you put "godus mobile bug" as the subject of your report and identify the exact device and iOS version you are using, so they can more easily address your problem.

We are currently experiencing quite a few reports of this nature following the release of iOS 8 and the current version of Godus' incompatibility with it. Unfortunately, owing to the unforeseen timing of this update's release we are presently unable to recover your save or fix your old world I'm pleased to inform you that the forthcoming iOS update for Godus - due for release this week (hopefully today) - has had a lot of work go into how its save function works, which should prevent this ever happening again. It will also allow us to recover any future saves that get corrupted or lost... but for now, sadly, the best option for you would be to re-install. You don't, however, have to worry about losing any of the real-world money you spent in Godus. Simply contact our dedicated support team about the problem via Support.22cans.com and explain to them what has happened as well as the account name you used to make any purchases with (they may also ask for additional information) and once they have all they need, they will be able to refund all your lost purchases Thanks again for making us aware and feel to contact our support team directly about issues like this in the future.
