I enjoyed working with Sam.
He's no longer there. I no longer work. It's that simple.
(Actually it's a bit more complex, but there is a personal request and an NDA standing in the way to fully explain it)

(Actually it's a bit more complex, but there is a personal request and an NDA standing in the way to fully explain it) Would I be a million miles away in thinking, Sam has some incriminating pictures of you from a trip you made to Mexico one spring break, which he has been using as leverage. Now he has resigning he has agreed these will be filed in the shredder?

It's a shame to see you go as I think you were the more grounded of the mods, but your life is your own and when the only positive reason you have for doing something goes away there's no reason to keep doing it. You can now join the ranks for the discontent masses! |

Oh no no. Matthew did not know I would be leaving. It is my own choice to stop being a moderator. I guess I should edit that in the post. Ah okay, but still not telling their mods was not the best way to put a new foot forward, don't you agree? Well at the very least it put the Mods at a disadvantage. |

Matthew is replying / typing a reply as of now in the thread. I don't know if it is there by the time I click post here. It's his choice. I'm not bothered either way. I knew I was going to resign. Perhaps Sam told him, so Matthew choose not to tell me. There are so many possibilities. Read in it what you will. I think it's just Matthews way of starting a new. I will remain using the username Umbra'lite here. I like it. It is my name on many services now. |

Seeing that I now no longer am a moderator, I choose to keep the blue bird Icon as my own.
There is no need to have it 'incognito' anymore. I made it, I should be able to use it.

Is there a poll anywhere for when we next hear something? Can I take three months next Tuesday please?

I appreciate that Ba'al dropped the news here about the news. I had just about given up on the 22Cans forum - and now irritated that they couldn't even put an update through KickStarter. No problem, it makes sense for me to do so as I'd like to see this community thrive. I expect if I hadn't posted it here there would have been plenty of others who'd have thought to do so.
