it seems to me that despite my being an ass and not really having concern for if being honest about my opinion offends, the one sin I can find no evidence of, and I looked, is to suggest that anyone should not participate, opine, or speak.
I am thus still without acceptance of the "your participation is not appreciated" comment.
I searched and searched and found not one instance of my suggesting anyone's comment should not be allowed, nor that anyone's participation should cease/be censured.
Seeing as it was the third strike to shut me up on this board, I think that given my nature, things would degrade from here.
Yeah, I know myself and holding my tongue is not a specialty of mine.
I had to work hard to not speak out before, especially after the intentional stupidity required to take offense and misrepresent a fart joke, putz.
So rather than degrade this forum into camps and flame wars, I'll take my leave.

Sorry for not putting this into the goodbye thread but I must pretend to be a rebel, blah bal'ah, etc...

You make it seem like you are referring to some momentous event but I can't recall it. I therefore suspect something minor happened that is very significant for you. Given that the rules are incredibly loose here I'm surprised you earned the ban hammer.

I don't know why Danjal's comment to the effect of "your participation is not appreciated" (which isn't even what he said) is worthy of some dramatic outburst and storming off in a huff, while you feel it's perfectly ok to routinely tell people to fuck themselves, die in fires etc. because you're speaking your mind and it's your "honest opinion". I'd say don't dish it if you can't take it, but given how sensitive you are I think avoiding forums altogether is probably the right decision for you.

The difference is banned was raging against a company and Danjal made it personal. But that would be my guess. |

I would not say he made it personal. I think Tigris may have walled a very fine line at times and I think his most recent post were getting closer to crossing the line to attacking some one. But none were directed at me, no one had spoken up, and I understand these boards are freer then others so did not say anything.
banned as you have said, nothing personal, you are an asshole and as such you are going to have to expect to piss someone off and if you do and the call on you on it. So don't turn into an asshat and run off. I personally do not like some of your post but still value your option. You helped me keep in mind the promises that were broken and I might otherwise forget.

Lord folks, please. I was not intimating Danjal had been out of line, nor that I was smacked by the kind folks that run this board. I was trying to explain that I am an asshole and that I would not be pleasant to be around since folks were being appropriately forth coming about my being offensive. I find it challenging not to respond, appropriately or not.
I took the better part of valor et al. No one is to blame nor accused save I.
Just as my words were the source of anguish and distemper, my choice to chown was my own and in no way suggested nor directed by anyone.
