REAL and FLOAT mean the same thing. Just in different language.

I said "world's". But nice try. I hear Adam West's insanely popular in South America. Just sayin'.

Yup. That was a FORTRAN joke about implicit variable declarations.

I haven't looked at another language since c# I'm afraid, that's the one that pays my bills.

I wish I knew other languages; programming or otherwise. I'm still trying to master English as my first language.

I haven't looked at another language since c# I'm afraid, that's the one that pays my bills. My Christmas Eve gift to myself was successfully getting my Java Certification. It's the first piece of paper that proves I do know what I'm talking about (and the last big step to my Bachelor's). Being self-taught is actually a hindrance to passing the exam. Most IDE's automatically handle the things they test for and, as a consequence, it gets glossed over in the real world...

I remember learning at uni was always totally different to business world. End of the day intelligence isn't always measured academically and it should not be either. (No intention at dig in case it's misconstrued).

Yeah, I'd have had less trouble if I went into the process without experience. Stack Overflow isn't something you can access during the exam process.
