So I'm wondering, is there any indication of when this PC sprint that was gonna start at end of summer beginning of autumn is going to start? Christmas is almost around the corner.

If current information is anything to go by, then the closest that will resemble a PC focus will be the nebulous BFE-update. With the next sprint being locked down to either maintenance or multiplayer, and the android release being imminent alongside that. Subsequent focus likely being the one that isn't chosen aswell as smoothing the post-release issues for android.
Makes it a safe bet that 22cans' hands will be tied for atleast another 6 months. Likely more.

Likely more. I was about to say March of next year and then realized that that's pretty much what you said. This whole situation has become a terrible parody of itself. Back in March, we heard the same crap we keep hearing now. Things are going to be different. They're alternating sprints between mobile and pc. They're working on mobile right now and pc will get focus once they knock it out. Hubworld is coming in a couple weeks. Hubworld is pc first. They've pretty much given up even trying to make excuses now. At this point, we're just getting "deal with it" and expected to sit around being quiet. What's even worse is that I'm spouting off what everyone here already knows. At least posting it all out makes me feel marginally better about how bad the situation actually is. Lord knows I have squat else to talk about....

Can't wait till they come back and say, "Ah Ha! We never specified which autumn we were talking about! Rest assured, it will be an autumn that will occur... in the fullness of time!"

Hehe, its not something that has gone unnoticed by me either, I fully expect some such comment to come along at one point or another during the Godus development. Suffice it to say the CM's did define "autumn this year" (or fall, I don't know whether british or american terminology was used in the specific statement). Aswell as "later this year" and a variety of "late/early 'month' of this year" combined with "after X or Y focus/sprint are finished".
Though much like the BFE-update, these statements and 'promises' remain in flux and things continually change and get altered/delayed.
I guess that along with 'iterative design' 22cans also dabbles in 'iterative promises' and 'iterative truths'.

To which I'd imagine we'd see a reply to the tune of, "While the general meaning of "this year" could be taken literally, we here at 22cans spend so much time iterating, we've decided to iterate away those pesky "definitions" of your so called "words" with our own bonkers and amazing definitions! Rest assured, those old definitions were never much good anyways and our newly designed GAMMA version definitions will be much better suited to better suit ourselves... in the fullness of time!"

The March pc focus isn't going to be much to cheer about either. At best, it'll be the BFE. It's just looking unlikely we'll be getting that any time soon. I'm still chuffed that they can't spend a few minutes each sprint tweaking pc timers in an effort to improve game play. The whole BFE screams apathy.
As for the lua modding ability, that's going to be a lot of wishful thinking. The game chugs already. Modding is only going to tax resources even worse. It's not like lua's a very efficient language. There's no way we'd be able to mod fix Godus' problems without digging deeper into the code than they'll allow.
