I was playing in Wayworld last night when something awesome happened. I only have 9 farms that are on that first plot. I'd unlocked to +50% wheat card earlier cutting the production time in half but that was still quite some time to wait. A couple hours later I noticed all my fields were full. I collected them, and 30 seconds later they were all full again. Now, my smaller fields (1-2 wheat) fill every 10 seconds and my larger ones fill every 30 seconds. I've gone from constantly needing wheat to build each building to having over 5000 wheat stockpiled now. I've kept the game running in the background in case this is a random glitch. Is this normal? Does this happen to everyone at a certain point, or should I be collecting all I can before the game rights itself? Edit: Well, the game closed itself from the background and upon reopening the times for wheat production were back to normal. Thankfully I'd collected over 6000. I think this may be repeatable though and may be tied to voyages and possibly fast forwarding in voyages. That was what I'd been doing last night right before I noticed the accelerated wheat and while it didn't work when I tried it again just now some fields that had read over an hour until production were down to 30 minutes after coming back from 8 voyages that took less than 10 minutes (I do the same easy mission over and over for 8-9k each time and with fast forward each mission takes maybe 30 seconds.)

Shhhhhh!!! Do you want the Devs to hear you?!?!?!
Awfully balanced timers on nearly every aspect of the game... You're gonna have to wait for the BFE to fix it, pardner.
Random bug that makes the game balance slightly more livable/playable/enjoyable.. dare I say "fun:... Patched over the weekend.
Nobody messes with 22cans freemium cash farm... nobody!

I would like to see some large scale experiments with this - as I elaborated in another thread, it would prove very useful data in prep for the BFE-update. It also forms as a good basis for future expansion.
While perhaps a 'flat constant' fast production may not be very good in the longrun (and will just make it tedious), a variety of booster methods. Such as using "beautify"-like powers to temporarily create fertile soil which can be used for (faster speed) farming, and terraforming desertland into arable land. Aswell as using a spring-style mechanic to irrigate lands and producing fertile soil that does not need to be maintained through use of belief. And finally using floodplain mechanics to generate a cyclic event that results in bursts of high-yield terrain, interspaced with periods of reducing yields followed by a period of flood where the terrain is unusable.
These 'templates' can then be taken and applied to other wheat-mechanics. Certain other industries, be it woodcutting, livestock, mining or any other form of production and/or industry could likewise be affected by powers/terrain features/natural features.
Where the godly powers are directly fueled by belief, but temporary (Potential inclusion of a 'sustained' power that refreshes itself but keeps taking belief overtime.) Where terrain features could either be pre-existing and potentially moved or manipulated either through the use of godpowers or by applying the engineering skills of our followers. And the natural features follow certain cyclic patterns.

I had the same issue Sunday first in weyworld where I had almost no fields and then when I went back to homeworld it was crop collection madness - before the game imploded and decided clicking or touch operations where not supported. Post restart normal service was resumed for crops.

The refresh rate also gets quicker the later it is. By 10pm PST I couldn't even keep up with the field production (refresh times of ~1sec, starting out at closer to 30sec like you said)

It's over 6000!!?!
lol. gotta love those glitches while they last, it makes an otherwise bland grind quite interesting.

I've seen my crop collection going the other way. For me voyages have now expired.
