I really hope they include more than a few nods to other games, mostly LucasArts/LucasFilm titles like Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island, but also other well known titles by rival studios. Some real tongue in cheek humor is one of my favorite aspects of many LucasFilm/LucasArts games - and the subtle inclusion those kinds of "easter eggs". Agreed. MI and, my favourite, Day of the Tentacle, were brilliant. Can't forget Full Throttle!

I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.

Agreed. Although point-click adventure games in general don't strike me as overly difficult. I usually play them for the story/writing.

Is anyone good in "inventing" puzzles? Ron and Gary need help!

Is anyone good in "inventing" puzzles? Ron and Gary need help! That might be a fun thing to brainstorm about with the members here. Did they give any parameters?

Yip. But they are also warning because of spoilers. A few details were revealed, y'know. I can deal with it but what's about you?

Hopefully he doesn't close the suggestions before I get home. I have a few ideas that manifested while browsing the many, many other suggestions. Most of them seem to be focused on obvious solutions, but the more wacky absurd ones are more in line with what Ron needs.

What we need is Monkey Island style puzzles, like the monkeywrench. And objects like bananapickers.

Yeah, that silly rubber chicken pully solution was a real puzzler.
I think I have a good idea, but am now held up at the in-laws for dinner; family from out of state are visiting. Some of them are watching basketball and the rest are in the kitchen playing cards.
I managed to slip into a dark room while their attention is split. Not sure how long I have before my wife notices I'm missing. Lol.
