Pillow forts are awesome yes, but they are also warmer (pretty hot day), and smaller (we had to fit 6 people inside a single fort), so all-in-all the blanket fort was superior to the pillow fort

think he means his life would be easier if "we all were" as per your post. Yes, I figured as well, but I think that when things are easy and you are not challenged you do not grow. So, by making things harder to work through you are actually getting smarter by doing so. In this sense, we that do give 22cans a hard time, have been actually helping to make them smarter. I did a cognitive study on this exact subject and found that aspect quite interesting. Studies have shown that by doing only easy tasks, you can make yourself a small amount dumber. and here we find the source of Lord Ba'al's might. grew hard through, "challenge", you say.
