I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.

At least they are starting with a resource/research tree, rather than a forced single timeline and stickers.

Maybe even till some positives from they guys hanging out here. Edit: I am aware it is not even in beta yet!

Am I mistaken or has that contest been summarily ignored by literally everyone?
Edit: It says "entries have started coming in" so I guess at least someone must have entered. Presumably it's only open to mobile users, since PC users wouldn't want gems and could have modded their game to 'cheat'.

I play PC and iOS, though not for a while and just posted some old screen captures from iOS, looking at the others there are some pretty good entries. I'm not interested in the Gems, entered to see if people liked my sculpting.

There are only a handful of entries, though the name might have led some think they were meaning the Godus Steam Workshop, since there's little else of a "workshop" around that contest. So that might have killed off mobile user interest before they even got to see "for mobile users only". So far, they only have to pick two that don't win and award the gem amounts to the remaining based upon number of likes.

Did 22cans just imply that there was a content update to be forthcoming soon for mobile, or just taking the piss again?

At least that store description page doesn't read like something well over a year ago.

Nah. "An update before too long" means whoever wrote the Tweet has no idea when (if ever) the mobile game is going to be updated with any real content and is just trying to say the right thing.
