The subject line says it all. Have there been any recent statements mentioning hubworld? Do they CMs want to add anything new. I'm sceptical whether we will ever see it.

The big question will be how they'll deal with kickstarter's hubworld-related agreements.
Or ofcourse the Curiosity winner and subsequent "God of Gods" competition.

Id forgotten about the whole God of gods thing. Mainly because it hasn't been implemented even after all this time since he won the prize. It's funny that if the welch on Godus they also welch on curiosity since the prize for curiosity was a role in Godus.

I don't expect to ever see hubworlds, nor do I want to.

I don't expect to ever see hubworlds, nor do I want to. You think if implemented it would be a disaster? With this project's history, how could it not be? If it has any significant role in mobile, it'll be monetized and that'll kill it quick. I'm guessing that they haven't figured out how to make Hubworld a moneymaker on mobile so they don't have a good way to support their servers. Thus, it languishes in the box of promised things.

I should probably have been a lot more skeptical about their ability to sustain a perpetual online world for just a $20 fee. Naively I assumed that as I expanded in 1.03 that I would eventually find other people. After all that is what I inferred from Peter's one Jupiter sized planets remark.
If we do see hubworld it would have to be after mid February. So that is 3 months away at least. I wonder who the mobile player churn is going.

I'm still curious to see what they do but expect it to be underwhelming. That's the only reason I hang around; it's like having a reality show (or any show) on TV in the background that you kind of lost interest in long ago, just to see how it turns out. Usually predictably so.

I put my money on this game as a gamer interested more in the single player and sandbox options. I really couldn't care less about multiplayer, but that's not to say I don't sympathize with those that funded for that reason. Sadly, so far they haven't managed to get any of them right, based on what they promised.

Well the problem is the single player is shit and peter said it would get a lot better with the multiplayer so we are all eagerly awaiting multiplayer. Id have settled for an interesting sandbox game.

The story of Godus - rolling out a new iteration in an attempt to "fix" the problems with the previous iteration.
Kickstarter, wasn't enough -> Iterate into Steam Early Access, wasn't enough -> Iterate into iOS, wasn't enough -> Iterate into android, wasn't enough -> Iterate into "The Trail" (Cause be fair, that description of "The Trail" is 1:1 carbon copy of what he intended Godus to become.)
Same goes for the gameplay, take one component, fuck it up -> Iterate and promise this new idea will make it all come together, fuck it up -> Iterate into a new component and promise that this time it'll all be clear, fuck it up -> rince and repeat.
