The natives are getting restless.
This is why it wasn't a good idea to release a half finished game on iOS with microtransactions.

Keep it classy for the holidays, 22cans! Yup. I said as much whenever they brought it in on the opt-in, but as always, they selectively listen to what they can get away with changing, not what they can't (for whatever, probably cash-related/Peter-related, reasons).

Anything to bump those End-of-Year sales/profit numbers, eh?

The official forum had hundreds of spam messages today so I'd suspect they were over eager in their removal of posts.

It was a few people complaining about various changes introduced following an update (presumably to the mobile release.) Among other things the radius of shrines has apparently been reduced, which messed up their settlements because they'd been optimising the layout of settlements to take best advantage of shrines. They interpreted this change as a desperate money-grab, as people would need to buy more shrines to cover the same area.
They were also complaining that the update lacked content and made the game worse.

Mobile has as you said been given the gift of less is less by smaller settlements with radius powered by gems just like PC, but we had hundreds of spam messages in cyrillic too. They've been culling posts as a result so I think the missing posting morsealworth mentioned, from the earlier link here amongst them.
Nice that mobile has seen the light in terms of cash, I suppose.

If this is true it's a pretty ballsy move by 22Cans. Unlike the PC version, the mobile release can't hide behind "Early Access" status. They've taken products that customers have already paid money for (shrines, settlements) and retrospectively made material changes that reduce the value of those items.
I don't play mobile F2P games personally so I don't know how typical this is, but even if it's standard practice in the mobile gaming industry to do this, it's still a seedy way to do business and a shitty way to treat customers.

One would only guess that the Cons are back to their old tricks of trying to censor negative views
