So where do recent events leave Brian? What must be a coupe of years ago he opened curiosity and was promised something life changing. He got a video of peter doing what peter does - over promising. Brian was supposed to be the God of gods in GODUS, a game that has millions of people playing together, his actions were supposed to change how they play. Pretty much none of this has come to pass (hopefully Brian at least got his share of the revenue). So what now for Brian?

I'm guessing that given as how Godus has been officially released on mobile he's getting a portion of the profits as he was promised from those exorbitant and zen-like gem packages. Though the fact that there is no method by which to challenge him for that position it could be construed as unfair and that maybe he's easily over-served his term as "God of gods".
Its likely it'll just be quietly phased out and swept under the rug like every other one of Peter's promises.

Peter has him stroking and touching everything in a back office. He can't leave until he thinks everything is delicious.

It's interesting that 22cans don't make public statements about The status of Brian's rewards given that they were a prize that the public (and not just Brian) has an interest in seeing delivered.

I know it's another 22cans promise issue, but I can never feel sorry for the guy. "How long have you been playing Curiosity? How often did you play? I downloaded the game only about an hour before I won, so I feel a little bad. Were you a Godus backer on Kickstarter? I didn't have a clue that it was on Kickstarter. Have you played previous games by Peter Molyneux? I haven't played any of his previous games but I have always wanted to try Fable. " www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/05/26/an-interview-with-curiosity-winner-bryan-henderson.aspxI would love to hear what he has been told/promised but I guess that is between him and PM.

This is my view on competitions meeting their commitments to people (or not doing so). Everyone who enters a competition or undertakes an activity with the hope of winning a prize enters into social contract (if not a legal one) with the entity running the competition. That is they will do what they are required to do - buy a ticket, send in an email, or click on a cube - and the entity will pay out the prize. Therefore, in my view all of the participants have an interest in whether the prize is paid out even if they are not the winner. This is important so that they know the entity has lived up to its part of the bargin. I didn't even partake in curiosity but I am very interested to know whether or not Bryan has received what he was entitled to because I am very much interested to know whether 22cans lived up to their promises.
There was some criticism at the time curiosity was revealed because people felt the prize was a last minute thing given godus was only green lit on kickstarter shortly before. This criticism seems very valid now given part of the prize (the ability to make meaningful decisions in godus) has not been implemented. It's possible Brian and peter came to some agreement whereby Brian gets extra money but as explained above if the terms of the competition have been varied the other entrants and in fact soceity at large has an interest in whether 22cans delivered. After all the trail may include a prize (unlikely though as that conflicted with microteansactions).
