The time has come to say goodbye to Monkeythumbz and Matthew Allen, at least in their position as community peeps for 22Cans. I want to thank both George and Matthew for attending these boards and for making an effort to relay the wishes and hopes of the community to their colleagues. It's been great to have you here. That said, I hope this won't mean you won't be showing your faces on this board any longer. In other words, I hope you guys will stick around. I wish both of you all the best in your future endeavours. Your new colleagues will be lucky to have you. With George and Matthew's departure the question arises as to what to do with their forum status on this board. Shall they remain in the 22Cans group as a tribute? Shall they become regular board members? Shall an entirely new group be created for former 22Cans employees? It might be nice to have a poll about it so we all have something to vote on. I shall add it to this thread. I'll be curious to see how it turns out and especially to learn how Matthew and George feel about this themselves. The poll shall be open until midnight at new year's eve. |

I have implemented the new group for former 22Cans staff and gave it the exact opposite colour of the 22Cans staff green.

Good luck to both George and Matthew - I'm sure the patience you had to exhibit dealing both with forum members and, ahem, senior people in the Godus team will stand you in good stead in the future.
I can't help thinking though that your departure is another nail in the Godus coffin.

For anyone who didn't catch it, I successfully derailed George's farewell thread and posted a goodbye of my own before the thread was...locked, apparently. Heh. Anywho, to summarily echo what I said over there, please stay in touch via Steam or Twitter or wherever your online cup of tea is. As crazy as this journey has been, I'm going to genuinely miss hanging out with a good number of you all. That said, I may still occasionally pop in here and there just for kicks, like a bad rash you can't quite get rid of.
