So FuriousMoo, has/will the media shitstorm had/have any impact on your plans of having the community aid in the design? Hmm, he builds bridges between this community and 22Cans with much requested honesty, and then this community uses that honesty against his own company, essentially shooting their own ally in the back to make a case against 22Cans. What do you think, does that have an impact? Burning your bridges is one thing, but then attempting to cross them afterward... *Rant over* Godus is thoroughly well and truly screwed if our/my/the press' actions shot him in the back in any way. If he's being given any trouble internally, it only reinforces how dishonest with themselves some of the devs (probably mostly management) are with what they were trying to deliver and how their actions resulted in the game's and community's existing state. As far as I'm concerned, while it may have created trouble for him, it hopefully gave him some more clout to play with without having to feel scummy about it (though he shouldn't have to begin with), which is basically pushing second press fallout potential if they don't work with him and provide resources to build out the game. |

We have an open arena for all. PM's deception caused the whole thing from his past and present sins. Can you please stop blaming us for his poor behavior? We are just the fools that bought PM's lies. We also do not prune or censor anything like 22cans and Steam does. It is called transparency, 22cans should not feel having truths come out is a bad thing in any way. We have nothing to apologize for as a community. We are the victims of this debacle not PM! |

It is no different than Twitter so not sure how that makes it anyone's fault. The truth has a way of always coming out. I really do not understand how people don't get that. Ask Martha Stewart who cooked her books or Nixon, nobody is above scrutinization for deception. PM thought he was, and as we tried to warn him, it came back and bit him in the bumm. If anything we tried to prevent it, but he would not listen. As long as there is resources going into The Trail, he still is not. He could finish his new one in 6 months, or a year from now, but many will not buy it since he still has not honoured his promises on Godus. I think until his does, he will just create another money pit. You can't run a business from robbing Peter to pay Paul. |
