i think its worriing that there still has been no answre to my question where hubworld is I'd like to at least know what caused it to stall out last summer. They just stopped using it as the answer to our complaints and found another excuse. While I understand that Hubworld may not happen, they HAVE to implement the God of Gods multiplayer functionality to avoid trouble in the end. It was billed as half the game for months, serves as the prize for Curiosity, and is the only way we're going to have any sort of god vs god fighting in the game (a primary descriptive in the Kickstarter). I'd really like to know what happened to the code and servers they were working on. Did they just wipe the servers and scrap the code? It's still hard to imagine this MMO lacking multiplayer after so long...

Peter also jokingly asked if the was a network coder out there in the Q&A sessions if I remember rightly?

Yeah, the post-AMA video (#40) had him talking about it coming out "Friday" and then panned over to see their network guy getting ready to leave. I'd love to have a few minutes to talk with their network guys. I can't imagine they were a happy group.

It's bizarre alright but when you look at their other triumphs (forum down for 6 weeks anyone?) it's clear that they just don't the chops to do a MMO God game.
