Until your followers get the idea to party at the fountain. There are likely a limitless number of gods in the infinite worlds. Some are dark and fearful in their wroth. Others are as gentle as the world's first Spring. Yet the dark cannot be seen except by the light and the light blinds alone, without the dark. All which is abides by this. Yada, yada, yada... But yeah, all that aside Lord Ba'al that might be an issue.

Fun, but useless fact: If you bury the red and white Astari tent, it will pop up again the next time you login.
There should be some victory music and a banner announcing that the Astari have perished. Have to wonder what the converted Astari think now that they are the last of their kind. Can we get an interview with them?

I wonder if the converted astari still keep their masks somewhere. Perhaps they have secret little parties with them in their bedrooms.

Update, 02/27/2015: Epilogue- It took weeks (their time) for my little Followers to clean out the old Astari city. Whatever didn't smell too bad was bundled up and sent to the new Indigenous Astari Culture Museum in the north. Eventually breeders moved in and bred like rabbits. Now verdant wheat fields are growing where inhuman and diabolical festivals once held sway. One clever farmer built his little field almost on top of the old Astari fountain which still spews forth wine. Sometimes he seems more than a bit tipsy but I look the other way. It's all a bit boring but blissful and serene. Meanwhile whispers spread in the East of a terrible power growing at 22Cans. An old evil is rumbling and growing and I fear that my blessed realm may soon be at war.* * At least I hope so. I can only take so much peace and bliss. Actually Lord Ba'al the Astari have retained elements of their culture and continue to wear their masks but they are now full members of society and they produce belief bubbles and will build abodes if I request it. They also have their museum of Astari culture. And I have tried Marshmallows to speak with them but unfortunately they are every bit as dim as my Followers and only say things like "build it." Sigh...

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I'm playing on iOS also and have just got to the last homeworld beacon. I can not believe it takes a week to unlock, unbelievable.

You're not hijacking Spiderweb You think the beacons are bad? Try gradually eliminating the Astari (on IOS) through swamp attrition in Weyworld. If you do post a picture. This is the Astari torment thread. Although it definitely had its pleasurable moments.

My method is slightly less forgiving, I've given them a lovely tree next to there door which I regulary set on fire, while they try to put it out I compress them into individual pancakes.

I mentioned before that I had three little Astari women stuck on a ridge with no way to climb up. The gift to climb walls and swim is granted only temporarily to those that see the light, so they were stuck. Neither hunger nor tiredness seemed to weaken them. Truly, the Astari are a mystery. Those stuck outside are immortal without my interference. They don’t suffer either, the happiness of the tribe is unchanged. These cruel heathens show no remorse for their fellow members.
I had accepted their presence as normal and focused on converting the rest. When it went slow, I decided to use a comet to showcase my powers, in the hope that it would help convince these heathens. While I aimed it so that no one should be struck, it did have effect. The shock of the impact threw the Astari up in the air. One landed back on the ridge and one on a lower piece of land. The third ended in the ocean and unfortunately drowned, since the lack of belief from the Astari prevented me from sculpting and saving the poor woman.
I can only aim to convert the rest, so that they may be granted the power to escape. A few days ago a new group of Astari joined the woman on the higher ridge. I suspect it happened because of a swamp, which allowed them to sink deeper in the ground.

The Astari worship a cruel and capricious deity which sometimes grants them unusual powers and oft abandons them. My advice, for what it's worth, is to continue using "tough love" and the swamp to encourage them to see the pure light of your love. Good luck With your struggle.

This was fun to read!! For the life of me I can't get my converted Astari to build in Weyward. Any suggestions? I assume zukicat that you herded them to a suitable spot and all? Sometimes they need to be roped and herded multiple times. They also don't like building large abodes. They're also quite stupid. Have you tried boosting their energy level? Eventually mrdrpink or Lord Ba'al or someone will discover you and help, most likely. They're in the GMT time zone if that helps. And as I said on the other thread, sometimes it depends on the device you're on. Frankly a more detailed explanation of what you have tried to do and what happened would help.

If they don't build when you Leash them to an empty plot, they could be bugged. I'll ask QA to look into this for you.

What I do is lead them to a plot, close and open Godus and then leash them to a the plot. They don’t build if they've been without a house for too long, but restarting seems to fix that issue. For me it's the same with all homeless people. Maybe you could try that, along with the things darkmoondragon mentioned. Thank you for your advice and encouragement. To atone for my earlier anger in which I killed some Astari, I've decided to aim to spare everyone else and show them my mercy. This is not at all related to the fact that they don't die in the swamps unless I'm there to witness them getting stuck, something for which I don't always have the time. It pains me that they disappear if I'm not present. I suspect it is also the work of their strange god, who takes advantage of my absence to both kill them and protect them from swamps.

Thank you everyone! They do build when I leash them in the homeworld but not in Weyworld. I found the other night that if I leave them an open plot to build on and then close the program, when I reopen it, they will have built on it. Even when they aren't leased.
Also...I've tried to read a lot, but just haven't found how to update the program. Thanks again guys!!

Edit: The northern settlement from the Astari has now been conquered! The poor Astari have seen the light and abandoned the ridge. I've allowed them to move back into their city and work the fields. I'm also considering sending some of the converted Astari there. The bad news is that I've encountered a new bug Converted Astari now try to move into houses that are already full. Clearly their mysterious deity is feeling threatened and found a way to make the poor souls disappear.
