In the past, we have made Q&A videos with Peter and Jack and we've made videos where we've introduced members of the team. This is something I'd like to continue doing, but is this something you'd like us to continue doing?
I'm also thinking of creating another short set of videos were we interview different team members each week/month, but you the community can ask the questions. Would this be something that would interest you?

Given how few team members are actually working on Soonus you'd be done in under a month. Plus we've been asking questions for years, why would 22Cans start answering them now?

I think we've had some good discussions in these forums with Matthew, George, Fabs and FuriousMoo, and I think that's good. So I guess I would say doing the video thing is just something that might be distracting to the team? However, this site has plenty of questions and open discussions...
If there are team members who are at a loose end and want to be interviewed, go for it.

We could easily film a video within 10 - 20 minutes and this could be done over lunch or throughout the day when one members workload isn't too busy. Gathering the questions is something I'd be able to do throughout the week.

So long as it isn't too distracting for them, then I agree it would be nice. I personally would like to see videos from the current team working on Godus, as they're the ones we're mainly dealing with now anyhow; so I feel it would be the most prudent and productive use of the format.
A monthly "state of the game" video would be cool, too.

What kind of questions are you expecting/hoping for? The easy questions are generally being answered by FuriousMoo and the CMs and the hard questions are not answered at all. A lot of the questions are ones that only PM can answer, but there's no point in asking him as he will either not respond or not give honest answers.
Everyone's questions are along the lines of "What is the truth about what's going on" and "When can we see the results from any of the activity that keeps being talked about" and "Where is the roadmap/announcement about the Trail from PM/whatever else has been promised and not delivered recently". We know the team can't answer these questions.
If the questions are all expected to be "what are you working on today?" these are surely covered by the daily/weekly forum updates we're now supposed to be getting.
I assume the real audience for these PR videos is not the community that uses Steam/Proboards, but rather casual gamers who appear on Facebook and need to be reminded of how enthusiastic and fun and awesome the Godus team is. So maybe try sourcing questions from them.

Well I don't mind doing a video on a weekly basis so long as it is quick, really not interested in fluff pieces for the casual crowd though. Might be an opportunity to talk a little about the technical aspects of what we are doing for those interested in the actual industry side of things, assuming there are enough people interested. That or I can take the opportunity to test run my new cooking show!

I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.

I don't think we've actually seen any FuriousMoo videos before have we?

Why not poll some community questions and the most popular get asked and answered in as much detail as possible each week?

Cool! If the videos can be put together quickly and don't impose on the team that sounds great! I'd love to see some videos focused on technical aspects as FuriousMoo said. That would interest me a lot! :-)

I also want to know what the roadmap is, where will godus end up. Oh and I want to know whether godus will be forced out the door pretty much as is so with most established mechanics as they are or whether he will invest in fixing the resource system, sculpting, making our people actually do stuff, you know everything he promised on kickstarter. It's not fair to ask Moo to explain all this and it's above his pay grade. I want peter to tell us how godus will become a good game and how he will resource it.

Don't the videos all have to be edited for content and stuff? I don't mind editing the videos Yeah but doesn't Peter the Great have to audit it first?

I don't mind editing the videos Yeah but doesn't Peter the Great have to audit it first? Um what in Peter's history of statements and interviews etc makes you believe he spends any time deliberating what to say to the public...... He pretty much fires from the hip, I've never once seen him audit any videos.

Peter want to do the office webcam thing again too.... not sure why, can't say it was particularly entertaining or insightful to watch when it was done previously.

Peter said this in an interview: Molyneux: 22cans is 22. The other arm of 22cans, called 14 Steps, at the moment there’s only six. That will keep going for as long as it can. Again, this is a fascinating world. You have a graph. You can see your costs here and your development here and very accurately start predicting how long things are going to go on. Since he can "very accurately start predicting how long things are going on." Can you please share those predictions with us so we know how long you will keep investing time in godus. Also are none of you at 22cans bothered by how much peter seemed focused on stripping money from players and being good at monetising and how he seemed disinterested in making good games. He comes off like a psychopath. venturebeat.com/2015/02/03/from-console-to-mobile-game-designer-peter-molyneuxs-reinvention-journey-interview/Also he seems to ignore the fact he promised a pc game first with no compromises for mobile. When will the God of gods be implemented?
