Well, it might as well be! As of right now the counter records 2168 guests in the last 24 hours. Given that 22Cans forums are down indefinitely, this is where people are naturally going to arrive.

I'm just surprised it took until now. I'd expected this stuff to happen back in September when Godus hit its 1 year mark. I guess it took PM actually trying to cut and run for things to start happening.

I have seen more help offered on these forums rather then the 22cans forums. Also did this forum not always out rank the 22Cans forums in the search?

Well, it might as well be! As of right now the counter records 2168 guests in the last 24 hours. Given that 22Cans forums are down indefinitely, this is where people are naturally going to arrive. I have written to a few of the authors informing them that this is actually a fan-run forum, frequentednby both Backers, Steam players, and even Mobile users, looking for an open community free from corporate control. I let them know it was set up by two Alpha level Backers - Lord Ba'al and Qetesh - because of issues that arose within the original Official Backer forums (which are mostly no longer available for viewing) of heavy-handed mods; such as banning of users, post deletions, and editing out history of problems. Please correct any misstatements I may have made in that explanation, and feelnfree to add anything I left out. I have been really busy at work and home, so I haven't had any time to contact any media about my experiences through this project, but will hopefully have time on Friday evening.

These articles are coming thick and fast. Kind of goes to show how these websites cannibalise each other. Still, I'm really pleased to see 22Cans finally having to face the music and I only hope the press keeps up the momentum.

Wasn't on my list so I added it. The stories are getting better and better as the various articles add more information and get better clarification about what's really been happening.

The comments were as interesting as the article and it's nice to see that Konrad aka FuriousMoo is getting a positive spin out there.

That's nice:"Eventually I was like, they're not being professional at all. Communication is non-existent, ... ."
Something, i think, we all thought, too. More than once in the last two years.

Did you see in tweets Fabs is officially back on GODUS. It sounds like media has lit a major fire under Peter's ass. It's a shame it takes the media to face up to his responsibilities.

I regret that it had to come to this, but I gave them two chances. The first was with my purchase to show support for a PC game, the second was with the attempt at setting up a dialog and getting some proper answers. Seeing as they squandered the money on mobile and essentially BSed us on all the answers regarding any real PC development, it seemed only appropriate that someone do something. I doubt I got any of your hopes up back with the questions, apologies if I did, but I still look to that as a good attempt at getting them to dig their own graves a little (more, you might say). The initial draft of that post even said as much to a degree, before I cut it out to soften the tone.

Do we know who was asked to leave 22cans versus who left of their own accord?

Do we know who was asked to leave 22cans versus who left of their own accord? Do we even know if that's true? Everyone I've heard of leaving 22cans did so without being asked. Sam, George, Matthew, and I'd thought even the producers? Seeing as we never had much contact with them, they're the only ones I can think of that might have been asked to leave since we never heard from them. It might have been some of the invisible staff that we've only heard about in passing, like weren't there some contractors here and there?

Well many of the articles said that peter said some people left of own accord and some people asked to leave. I was wondering about Jemma? Maybe others we don't know by name. Is Demitri still there?

In the meantime... Anyone else getting a hoot out of Aynen furiously censoring the Steam forums whilst simultaneously trying to assure those he's about to ban that he's an OK guy?

Perhaps somebody should email Gabe and send him the articles.
