Fair point. I often tend to avoid the Steam forums if I can, because of the incessant ADHD text vomit that occurs there.

I really have not had many reasons to step in here. I am not lazy. I am lenient. Give me a reason and I will whip out my whip. *Pulls out whip and blows dust off it.*

Continuing my on-going saga of taking my refund complaint to Kickstarter
Honestly I don't know where to proceed with this mook. His levels of denial and obliviousness rival that of Peter Molyneux and a certain pair of volunteer moderators from another forum I'm sure we're all acquainted with.

Continuing my on-going saga of taking my refund complaint to Kickstarter ... Honestly I don't know where to proceed with this mook. His levels of denial and obliviousness rival that of Peter Molyneux and a certain pair of volunteer moderators from another forum I'm sure we're all acquainted with. The creator is solely responsible for fulfilling the promises made in their project. If they’re unable to satisfy the terms of this agreement, they may be subject to legal action by backers. ... Kickstarter isn’t liable for any damages or losses related to your use of the Services. We don’t become involved in disputes between users, or between users and any third party relating to the use of the Services. We don’t oversee the performance or punctuality of projects, and we don’t endorse any content users submit to the Site. When you use the Services, you release Kickstarter from claims, damages, and demands of every kind — known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, disclosed or undisclosed — arising out of or in any way related to such disputes and the Services. All content you access through the Services is at your own risk. You’re solely responsible for any resulting damage or loss to any party. Seems like Kickstarter's washed their hands of it, and their terms of service back that up.

I kind of understand that. I think Kickstarter is a non-profit, is it not? If they had to hire lawyers and police projects they would have to start putting up ad and start charging people a lot more to host their projects and you would see a lot if not all of the really small cool projects disappear. SO personal I do not blame or hold Kickstarter to blame. I did not do enough research to know Peters rep, so I do not feel they should have to take actions for this or the one other project that I feel did not live up to their promises.

Added to the pile! The list is nice and long. This is a sad, but inevitable day that is a relief to have finally come.

Wow. So this insane train is steamrolling out of the wasteland and straight into mainstream media. Woe is he who dwelleth atop the Dark Tower.

I just want to say I haven't seen anything from Peter that shows he is trying to do anything more meaningful than placate the media so he can get back to the Trail. Hopefully we see some firm commitments, a road map and a payment made to Brian soon. That would be real change.

Another article: www.shacknews.com/article/88069/opinion-godus-the-promises-of-a-fallen-god-game-creator"What's astounding isn't that 22Cans chose to pursue the lucrative mobile market, which has been bringing in a decent revenue stream. It's that the company seemed to completely forget what the Kickstarter and Early Access funds were meant for. Now with a reduced team, thanks to a large portion of developers tasked to work on a different project called The Trial, completion of Godus for PC seems ever more distant. Godus is having problems with promised features like multiplayer and a persistent worldhub. 22Cans only recently started work on basic game concepts like combat and story. Backers are justifiably angry, and many are demanding a refund. Whether or not Godus will ever be finished remains to be seen, and moving forward, it will be difficult to overlook the stain that's on 22Cans' reputation."
