Here is a video I have made annotating what I believe everyone was really thinking during the recently released community update.
Godus Community Update What we really think
This is a work of parody, don't take it to seriously o.k. (i'm posting here just incase the steam mods decide to remove my post from the official godus forum)
Please watch in fullscreen, some of the annotations dont display correctly in a small viewport.

PM reminds me of a politician with dog shit economy, and no jobs telling his country everything is coming along as planned and unemployment is dropping, while hiring more government temp jobs to push his agendas through, and Moo and Jack look like they are in the principal's office.
I also find the timing suspect.

Lol! I really enjoyed reading the subtext. I picked up on a lot of the same things. Though I do believe there were many more opportunities in that video.

Actually there was a lot more that i did put into this, but youtube actually glitched out on me and caused it to erase over half of my commentary, so I had to frantically try to re-enter my commentary again before I forgot some of the jokes that I had put in on my first run through. There was one point where I had them call peter out as being George Lucas in disguise, and that Godus is to be his Phantom Menace.
I feel there are alot of parallels between Lucas and Moleneux. A fallen master story teller, past his prime, that should have faded out into ledgend (fable) but who has now chosen to follow the dark side. and is now intent on destroying his legacy with his own arrogance and greed.

Well, it's been clear for a while that he surrounds himself with sycophants and Beta personalities. Nobody around him is willing to call him on his shenanigans. You can see it in every single video he releases.

Actually I think Konrad was doing a decent job of standing upto pete when the opportunity presents itself, in the video above he brings up an uncomfortable question that was obviously not part of the script that they were working to, re-guarding the millions that Godus has made. I'm sure pete would have much preferred him to just sit there being quiet the whole time until asked to talk.

Don't really think putting words in Kondrad's mouth (or mind) is a particularly good idea - even for fun - given he may very well already be under scrutiny from his employers, but the annotations above Peter pretty much summed it all up for me. The moment he said "I can totally see why that would be a concern." I thought "Because that's exactly what I'm going to do." and then the speech bubble popped up

PM is going to blame him regardless, that is just what he does.

I wonder if we'll get a opt-in build and daily dev update today with the shit-storm in full effect.

I wonder if we'll get a opt-in build and daily dev update today with the shit-storm in full effect. Don't count on it; they now have an excuse of "focusing onnmedia shitstorm" as a reason for the designers not to do any work - despite having no influence or position to deal with media anyhow. Thats what customer support, production, and upper management is for. But that's par for the course at "twenty-toucans"; blame lack of progress on ridiculous reasons, because delay and defelct is always "on the list".

3:13 - "That's loads of bollocks here" 4:30 - " I can't keep listening to this shit, are even sane?" Body language says it all, FuriousMoo. 6:00. Wait, what? Where did the thread with quotes go?

Oh my god, I haven't bothered with Godus for so long and then see this.
I take my hats off to anyone who has an ounce of optimism left in their body over this game, In terms of FuriousMoo, Maybe he is a fellow ASD suffer maybe he has just had the riot act read to him about how his indiscretion has meant that Peter has actually has to book some hours to working on godless rather than his new pet project. Maybe he just needs to get a new job as the relationship has broken down... Either way, something is not right and if I were an investor and saw my leads had that level of working chemistry, I would be looking to close it down and liquidate. It's not as if Jack and Peter are even bouncing off each other as they once use to, they had, in this video the charisma and chemistry of a couple who's husband has just dropped the bombshell it was him you got the au pair pregnant and now they have to go out and greet their dinner party guests and pretend everything is ok, wonderful and normal in their lives while secretly hating each other and thinking how they are going to screw the other over in the divorce court.
The other thing I don't get is this FuriousMoo guy started as an intern (lowest run of ladder, your basically indirectly paying to work) what a year ago and now he's running the show? I wonder why if godus is a serious long term product for 22Cans why they have someone so apparently inexperienced running the show? Sadly their is no substitute for experience, as we say in the city, your not a great trader until you have blown up (loose a sh1te load of cash) your first trading desk.
If I were Brian, I would be 100% focused of studying and getting a good job as the only life changing thing I suspect he well get from his "prize" is the life lesson that lawyers and accountants will screw you over at every opportunity and make it all ok with the phrase "It's just business".
