22 Cans Live Streaming (click link to read full article) you can head on over to to see the stream ( edit: figured out how to embed it below).

Another category for the Poll would be creepy (I'd vote for that). Talk about big brother!

The article suggests PM has done this to prove how much time he's spending on Godus (in which case maybe the camera should be pointed at his desk?) but in fact this is just another box-ticking exercise. As one of the Kickstarter reward tiers, anyone who pledged £15 or more was entitled to round-the-clock access to a developer webcam in the studio. I gather this actually went live for a while back in the day, but was allegedly removed due to lack of interest.
Interesting, this hasty flurry of activity at 22Cans to make sure Kickstarter promises are being fulfilled. It's a shame none of this was at the forefront of anyone's mind back when it might have made a difference. Having said that, webcams in the office were always a bit of a weak idea. I feel sorry for the guys at 22Cans - as if they didn't have to deal with every word they post online being scrutinised, they now have a live feed for internet weirdos to watch their every move at work. Or not. Based on the embedded link above, it's currently offline. This is likely to be another flash-in-the-pan effort that will be rapidly neglected and forgotten.

I think it's a good idea, if only because it was promised as part of the kickstarter. I don't have much interest personally, but I think it's good to have (even if it is just a "box-ticking exercise").

I think a general office overview webcam would be bearable. Looking over 2 people's shoulders all day is pretty pointless and a distraction.
