BTW: What branch will the majority of people be playing? I'm not sure what the last update on the Public release is, but the last Opt-in I'm aware of was on February 20th; Opt-In Update #11264I haven't played an opt-in version before so I'll probably be playing the main branch. But perhaps the latest opt-in version will be pushed onto the main branch before Saturday. |

I tried starting a new game last week.. and all desire to play Godus at all in its current form just vanished... completely.
Speaking of progress... has anyone seen or heard from Konrad lately?

I think it might be a good idea to start tallying who will be participating and where everyone is so we can figure out the best time frame for everyone.
I added a poll to the opening post. This one is special. The poll needed a minimum of two answers but I only want to know who will be playing so I made both identical. It doesn't matter which one you pick, just cast a vote if you want to join in. That way I can see the names of the people participating.
Once you have cast your vote, please make a post here stating the time zone you're in. (preferably in the GMT +/- X format)

Last time I tried it - which I think was right around when the media hubris was going on - I just couldn't play longer than 42 min. That's how it's been for a while; decide to try the latest build, see it still sucks, lose all desire to play ever again. To be quite frank, we might get an hour or two into it before quitting... possibly not even that long. |

I'm nearly through one of the most draining experiences of recent memory, i.e. facilitating the self destruction of the Astari empire through their own stupidity without directly killing any. If I have any energy left (problematic) I may play. I will enjoy following the group's exploits however.

For those planning on starting the game from scratch I have a request. It would be nice to get some good feedback on flow and balance. So as you play, time yourselves and jot down notes when you feel like you hit periods of excessive waiting, resource scarcity etc as you encounter them. Try to be as descriptive as possible. Or you could take screenshots of how your world progresses over time (include time played). This kind of information is super handy to me.
