Went through enough tissues to murder a medium size forest these last few days, but yeah back at work now thanks. Glad you're back, and well. Good luck with the PC combat sprint.

I can see about resetting my world as well. I assume making comments in the chat thread and posting pictures there or maybe starting a separate feedback thread that does not have general chit chat in it?

I assume making comments in the chat thread and posting pictures there or maybe starting a separate feedback thread that does not have general chit chat in it? I would prefer to keep things centralized while the event is ongoing. Preferably I would want to keep all related posting in this thread. I might decide to create a new thread on the actual day but I'm not sure about that yet. As for posting our eventual findings (in the form of a report or whatever) for the benefit of FuriousMoo, I might create a new thread, though I don't see why we couldn't keep those in this thread either. I could put links to peoples individual reports in the OP. Altogether it would make for a thorough and compact documentation of the event in its entirety as opposed to having several related threads that could end up lost quite easily.

Not sure if Godus has developed enough for a fresh look. Though perhaps for people who haven't played longer than I, It may have.

Okay so I've compiled a list of the people that may be participating this weekend. I've attempted to figure out everyone's time zone and this is what I came up with. (please feel free to correct me on anything) People who voted on the poll thus indicating they will play----------------------------------------------------------- 13thGeneral (GMT -6) Deth (GMT -5) Marshmallows (GMT +10) mindless (gmt +7 ) rubgish (GMT) Qetesh (GMT) Lord Ba'al (GMT) People who posted in the thread that they might show up------------------------------------------------------- earlparvisjam (GMT -7) Crumpy Six (GMT) Aynen (gmt +1) Spiderweb (gmt) heggers (gmt) darkmoondragon (gmt +5 ) Based on the above we'll have to figure out the optimum starting time for the event. Of course not everyone has to start at exactly the same time, but it would be nice if we could get as many as possible to do so. Any suggestions?

I guess a lot depends on how badly the aussies and kiwis would like to be a part of this event in real time and on their willingness to get up early on Sunday morning. So, hardly, Marshmallows?

I might have played if i could have got the game to load, but its DOA, kaput, nada, extinct, pushing up the daisies. I have installed/uninstalled countless times now and its never once started up for me, so thats it, i give up. i'll settle for just watching someone else play instead.

I'll try to get on as early as I can, though realistically, I might miss out on the party if I start at 12 noon my time (+12 hrs from this post). But hey, there will still be some leftover food right (not the crispbreads)?

I guess a lot depends on how badly the aussies and kiwis would like to be a part of this event in real time and on their willingness to get up early on Sunday morning. So, hardly, Marshmallows? I was actually thinking it would be more appropriate for those in the GMT zone to set the time, as they're the most common players participating - so it's up to y'all how early/late you're willing to play; and whether that time accommodates/compensates for those in the GMT +10/+12 zones. I can't speak for all the Americans, but but I'm available to start whenever suits the group - since we're on the backend side of the timeshift spectrum.* If trying to figure timezone differences hurts your head, use this handy Timezone Comparison website *I think that made sense...

I had that issue and it was because my virus checker was blocking it's access to the internet. Once I allowed it through the firewall it worked. Might be your problem.

I cant unfortunately, I'm out of town on Sunday. I'm looking forward to reading about your experiences though.

It sounds very interesting and fun, but I won't join. I haven't finished playing in Weyworld and wouldn't know how to start over. I don't want to risk my progress either ^^ Perhaps, if this is a success, it could be repeated if there's an update with a new world or just more land. I might follow what the rest of you does though.

Thanks to 13thGeneral's handy time zone website I was able to make a table. The rows highlighted in green indicate potentially suitable starting times for the event. But not everyone has to start at the same time of course. Personally I would prefer to start somewhere between 15:00 and 20:00 London time.
