Nice chart. Any of the highlighted start times work for me. I managed to set up and test a Twitch stream using XSplit (thanks rubgish). Have a few things to play with, but I think it'll work nicely. Not sure if I'll be able to record it though. Also need to backup my Godus game, and then start a new game.

Yay peanuts! One of my favorite foods~! *sings that song from the Captain Hook/Peter Pan film* Hmm... judging by the green rows, I'll most definitely miss the timeslot. I'm a Sydneysider and maybe if the Perth and NZ players are participating as well, maybe we can start a Southern Hemisphere chapter? Sort of a mini-gathering so to say? We can piggyback onto the main thread, but just at a time more convenient? Guys/gals, if you're participating, say hi~! I'll be part of the bunch who gets to take home the free balloons and unused paper plates.

I might have played if i could have got the game to load, but its DOA, kaput, nada, extinct, pushing up the daisies. I have installed/uninstalled countless times now and its never once started up for me, so thats it, i give up. i'll settle for just watching someone else play instead. I had that issue and it was because my virus checker was blocking it's access to the internet. Once I allowed it through the firewall it worked. Might be your problem. LOL, so its actually considered by some AV firms to be a virus, that's hilarious. thanks for the tip, will see if that helps.

You are more than welcome to join in at a time that is convenient for you, or to organise something with your fellow southern hemisphere compadres. Please note that the highlighted rows in the chart are just suggested potential start times. They don't give any indication as to when the event might end. It is possible that it will continue way beyond that timeframe. Likewise it is possible that it will end before some of us have even started because gods might get bored quickly. We'll just have to see how it all develops.

Nice chart. Any of the highlighted start times work for me. Now if everyone who wants to participate (besides 13thGeneral) would please indicate their desired/potential start time referring to the green rows on the chart we could pinpoint the ideal starting time.

Starting at 22:00 London time gives me the most realistic chance of being there from the start.

Starting at 22:00 London time gives me the most realistic chance of being there from the start. That would be rather late for me as I've been getting up at 5 all week and I have a similar schedule for next week. But I will most likely still be playing at that time.

An earlier start would be better for me probably (2-3pm GMT), as I think i'm meant to be out for drinks in the evening. Though having said that, I have a cold at the moment and so may just end up staying at home all day so if that is the case, i'll be around until much later on too.

I don't know for sure if I'll be able to make it, but the later the better. The whole green section is pretty much when I currently sleep.

I plan to post some captioned images, give a little tour about the various attractions in both Homeworld and Weyworld, and maybe momentarily dunk my followers in water just for fun (but I'll save them again!).

Looks like 17:00 - 18:00 GMT might be the best time to start, that way people can jump in as they're able to - as it's reasonable to imagine we'll likely still be at it within 4-5 hours, because progress in this game takes forever.

Earlyer is better for me as I have plans in the afternoon. WE might want to do a rolling start? I.E. have people start earlier and people just jump in when they can?

It was not that long ago that I began Godus. Actually it was just yesterday that I "completed" Weyworld by taming more than 200 Astari and getting rid of the rest. I haven't even been back to Homeworld in over a month or so. And I don't think there's really anything new there. So, if you were all replaying Godus a month or two from now I would almost certainly join in. But for now I need more than one day to rest. I will follow all your exploits. Sounds like a great idea. Don't forget to torment some Astari along the way. Good luck.

I'll be noodling along in my android and PC games but nothing could convince me to restart from 2 followers. In fact the next time it happens due to random atoms colliding/new shiny random game structure breaking update/whatever I'm likely to avoid playing for weeks.

Related to starting over in a roundabout way: Very strange. I just went back to Homeworld for the first time in a month or more and I got some windows pop up (posting one). You can only do this stuff through Facebook? That's odd. Plus I lost all my sound. Homeworld was mute. When I went back to Weyworld it was still silent but I reloaded the game the sound did come back again. There were not any message chests that I could see. Does this only happen if you start over? Is there anything else which doesn't happen unless you start over FuriousMoo Raspofabs mrdrpink et al?? For example, if I cannot get the combat without starting over (that would be very lame) but it might give me a reason to do so. I may try going back to Homeworld and reloading from there to get sound, but if I end up with a permanently muted game that would pretty much destroy it. This all seems pretty wonky to me. Has anyone else experienced these issues? Normally, in my experience, game upgrades don't necessitate starting a game from scratch. Maybe it's all "on the list?" I'm definitely not ready yet to have a bunch of mindless Astari mocking me from the borderlands. I just finally finished dealing with all that. Slightly amused, confused, baffled and a bit annoyed. Oh yeah, I'm still currently on IOS.

Hmm, so I went back to Homeworld and now there is sound. Wonky! Now I'm figuring you don't get the treasure chest story unless you start over. So if they were really clever the 22Cans guys would engrave the story on an obelisk or something for people who are past that point? Again, maybe FuriousMoo Raspofabs mrdrpink or someone at 22Cans can explain what advantages starting over would have, if any at all, in terms of future upgrades? It also occurred to me that maybe the story is only on PC and not on IOS or other devices at all. Anyway I understand the story is not all that important? Sorry if this is not really the right thread for all this but it was when I considered starting over that these issues reared their (ugly?) heads.

Sorry if this is not really the right thread for all this but it was when I considered starting over that these issues reared their (ugly?) heads. FYI. There have been a lot of necessary resets in the past and I'm sure there will be a lot more to come. This is because the game is still in development. I learned that the hard way when I put hundreds of hours in the alpha sculpting myself into insanity and then losing all progress in the first update. Anyway... It's a bit odd that the game is supposed to be a continuous running world while at the same time it's supposed to remain in continuous development (according to Molyneux) yet it requires players to reset for most main updates. But hey, what can you do. We've seen much stranger things right. It is what it is.
