Buying a monitor for Godus is amazing dedication Well, I am certainly not that dedicated. lol. It's simply an excuse to get a new monitor, because my second one died a few months ago. I'll be starting in about an hour, once I get my setup situated.

9:55 - Belief generation does seem better. Have not had to stop sculpting land to wait any yet. Also just finished the pit of doom.
Edit: .... and speak of the devil. I tab back to the game and get the gem pop up message as I complete the Pit. Also the Astari just show up as well.

Okay, I have locked my cat Qetesh in the bedroom with Qetesh and more importantly locked her OUT of the living room. Peace and quiet at last!

LOL 10:10: Just had my first game crash click in the card button to open to apply some stickers.
10:45: Did the voyages, I like these new voyages a lot better then the old ones so far. Belief rate is much better. I can live with the use of gems to upgrade shrines. I was a little annoyed at first with the number of stickers required for the Belief gathering shrine. But I can see the desire to hold off on gettin git for a little while now and it did not take as long as I feared.

I think I finally have everything set up in a way that will allow me to play the game and follow all the commentary.

Terrific, because my e key doesn't work I can only rotate the screen in one direction.
Good thing by the way that they explained how to scroll around the screen and rotate it in the tutorial. (not)

15:57 I’ve started up Godus and see two people drowning. I hear Peter Molyneux annoying me with some developer commentary babble nobody asked for and go to the settings to turn it off. Peter keeps talking anyway. I hope that’s because the audio file was already initiated and that further audio commentary will be avoided.
16:03 I start playing and am soon prompted with an annoying sculpting tutorial. Is that really necessary? I’m not a moron.
16:07 Hooray! I have completed the tutorial. Back to the drowning people. Let’s start by making the water underneath them a little deeper.
16:20 I managed to save the people by creating land underneath them. It's not that I wanted to, but it was the only way to continue. Now the critters are stuck behind a ledge.
16:25 It turns out that the tutorial does not explain how to pan around the screen and how to rotate it.
16:28 After a tedious forced procedure my followers have managed to find a piece of land to their liking. Now night is falling and they apparently need shelter.
16:32 I'm not hearing any more babble by Peter so I think switching off the commentary worked. My followers have just build their second tent. I had to play janitor and clear some rocks for them. Why do I have to exactly follow this tutorial? Why can't I decide for myself where I want them to build and if I want them to build?

I finally have things set up, but it's not ideal; the second monitor didn't work out (long story), so I have resorted to my laptop. It's going to annoy me trying to switch between the two. I should be up and streaming momentarily.

12:49 Second crash. They really need hot keys for the powers this clicking into the power menu and then doing stuff is getting old. They need them for at least the sculpting powers. Also would be nice to hit esc and cancel the power you are using.

13:10: Not sure if I have a bad balance of small vs larger abodes but I am starting to run into the belief crunch again. Also once I stop I really hope there will be no more raids and that I do not come back to find all my abodes burnt to the ground.
Edit: there really needs to be some warning sound that your being attacked. Everything else has a sound.
