I just learned that you can upgrade the trees so that they boost mines. It's one of the most useful things I've learned (it's just a shame that I learned it so late, with only one beacon to go in Weyworld). I thought it might be useful to start a thread where tips and strategies like that can be exchanged. I'm not sure if a thread like that already exists, my apologies if it does.
So: -Trees can speed up fields at their first upgrade, but upgrading them again means they also speed up mines. -On the mobile version (don't know about the computer version) your resources are listed in the bottom left corner. If you tap on the symbols, you will be transported to the nearest abode/field/mine where you can collect the resource. If you've already collected everything from that resource, tapping it will do nothing. It's a great way to check if you've forgotten any fields/mines/abodes. Just note that on smaller mobile devices it's near impossible to tap the belief symbol because it's too close to powers.

On PC, if you hit Ctrl+Z it will undo the most recent sculpting, but only one back. So you can't undo the flattening of a mountain or a hill.

Keep fields in nice 4x4 squares, early on rain of purity can grow 4 Fields from the Middle point!
You can force plots to the desired size using a layer of earth to nudge it.

Just in case you hadn't realised, you can take over the Astari peacefully and get a special card (that does nothing!) by getting all their followers via continual higher happiness.

Where's the fun in that? Well I kill all of them up until the last couple and win those over with happiness. For some reason that unlocks the area for sculpting rather than being locked out of it.

I've seen no evidence/reports that the astari removal or merge is responsible for the inability to unlock and use their areas - as far as I knew it is a bug in the PC code base.

Win by killing them all and it is locked, Win by happiness and it is unlocked and I'm nearing the same point again in iOS in weyworld on an iPhone (I'll let you know the success I have). I already been there in the iPad version I played, in that I killed them all with meteors and the area was locked after defeat.

On Android I used the same basic technique in homeworld and weyworld as I did in PC, homeworld pC no problems - weyworld locked out. No issues on mobile either side.

You use to be able to move plots around by selecting them with a 'click-hold & drag' method, but they removed it for some ungodly reason; although I swear at one point they made a card that allows it, but i can't recall (and can't check while at work).

Unless they fixed weyworld recently, I defeat 1 astari building (to the north or the ark) and I took it over, filled their settlement and can sculpt the land there. I'm working on the Astari island to the south east now. I'll let you know if a happiness win unlocks that (they may have just fixed the bug and violent defeat would work too!).

Never had the godpower move actually move, things vibrate but that's about all. No idea if my vibrating attempts costs me since in a sea of millions of belief the in game figures give no clue to a 1k spend. Whether my lack of power is due to me remaining on non-optin or not I've no idea.

Whether my lack of power is due to me remaining on non-optin or not I've no idea. From what I've seen with it, it only works if you have a plot the same size or bigger to drag something to and it only now works on abodes, fields, mines and shrines. Temples and beacons got removed pretty quickly during the "PC Sprint", but it was on the opt-in.

I've tried and failed in non-optin with all the types it lists in its 'card' in homeworld and weyworld - bit of wiggle nothing else. Initially I thought I was swiping it wrong but given I can manage the other similar operations with mouse or touch screen I just wrote it off in my build level.

Its a drag and drop method with the mouse. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=401940665

Normally, Yes. Once you taken over the Astari via superior happiness or death, you're able to start building/customising the Astari. In Homeworld this is possible, but in Weyworld its currently bugged on iOS. Last time I checked a fix was getting implemented into update 6 (next update).

OK well it appears it is only a bug via death, because via superior happiness is working fine on my iPhone.

Yes I have full control of Weyworld Astari zones after taking over by superior happiness on IOS. I'm wondering mrdrpink do you need to restart on IOS with update version 6 or not? The last major update just changed stuff with no restarting necessary. In fact it disrupted a bunch of stuff that I had to fix. What's in update 6?? What happens if you outright "kill" the Astari I have no idea.
