I found it interesting that I've posted 4 custom worlds to the workshop, but by far the most downloaded per visit was a simple start with loads of resources/no stickers required.
I think there really is room for a simple sandbox mode.

Coincidentally, I was thinking that a sandbox mode is most likely "Fabs' Secret Project" as that mode is a common one for many simulation games and wouldn't require any extra resources. If so, it would make it the second good thing for this title besides the sculpting, although it would be a consolation point for including a common mode as an afterthought. It still would be quite a brilliant addition to what Godus is now.

I think it basically come down to if you enjoyed sculpting or not (which in my opinion is currently Godus's only selling point).

I think despair is a common reaction when a game really has only one commonly-agreed-upon good feature. It would be like trying to revive Miner Wars 2081 and giving it some gameplay, even though the only redeemable part of that game was the engine KSH adapted for Space Engineers that is all about Destructible Terrain. For some, there would be little to no hope as they'd have to be convinced that there could someday be an actual game there instead of placeholders. Edit: For a bit of context about my relationship with KSH/Miner Wars 2081 - I was part of the modding collective looking into doing something with how promising the engine and both sounded. After the game cratered hard...yeah, good luck getting people to see your modding work. The community reaction was one of the greatest supporters turning into the greatest critics.

Why hasn't anyone voted on this poll yet? I would vote, but I haven't tried it.

Is it just me or is it tragic/symptomatic that as soon as someone (in this case Spiderweb) does something positive for the community, it immediately gets shuffled off to a sub-board where it will be forgotten?

The best and biggest update to Godus all year. such a sad state of affairs, they could knock out a new map every couple of months, at least that would be something.

It makes you wonder if there's a soul left at 22Cans with an ounce of passion for Godus.
