Shinto is Ainu's religion imported by Japanese that says about kamui ("essence", "spiritual power") inside any object in the world corresponding to the object's nature. And then come invaders under command of Chinese princess ("Amaterasu"), build the Imperial cult and Yamato becomes Nippon, the "Stronghold of Sun" (the Chinese Emperor). After China becomes divided into warring states, once again, Japan becomes independent and gets its own emperor. End of story. |
