You were probably my favorite 22canner. Thanks for all your hard work and engagement of the community. Best wishes in your new endeavors, and please let us know what you are working on next. It's always nice to support those in the gaming industry that support the gamer base in return. Your honesty and bluntness was very welcome in a spinny spin world of 22cans spinny spinners. Cheers!

I was awaiting official confirmation but indeed I wish Raspofabs all the best in future endeavours. I do hope you'll stick around here Fabs. I'll give you a spiffy purple colour.

Really sad to see, but I'm honestly surprised he didn't leave sooner. Guess it took awhile to configure the escape route, that, and I suspect some hope lingered about to do something more with it. Also, for those curious, thought it might be beneficial to carry over a source: From time to time, people will move on to new endeavours. Unfortunately, this time we say goodbye to Fabs. Fabs has been with 22cans and development of Godus from the very beginning and has put a considerable amount of time into the development of Godus. This may seem like a huge blow to the development of Godus, but our team is always expanding, at the beginning of April we welcome a new programmer to the team. We were going to leave this news to Monday but I'll make a mini post now before we do a proper one on Monday. fabs(); (note the little f) is going to be super awesome in his new job and we all wish him the best of luck. Fortunately, we're in the stage of Godus development where fabs' amazing deep down code knowledge is slightly less utilised than gameplay development knowledge (I think fabs would agree that he was getting a bit bored). Although we're really sad to see fabs go it's definitely a good move for him. We're lucky that we have a new programmer joining the Godus team next month to fill this gameplay gap and we'll be grabbing Bruno to do the majority of work on Multiplayer server side. (That's the right Kyreal, if the Twitter link is any indication, by the way.)

Farewell Fabs. I can't speak for the quality of your work becuase your efforts are hidden within the work of the collective but I can say that you interacted with us with integrity. You were brave enough to come on here and tell us what you thought. I particularly appreciate you dreaming with us about what GODUS could be. All the best for the new job wherever that might be and I hope your new project is less infected by the free to play scourge than godus.

Another one bites the dust... and I thought my job had a high staff turnover. All the best for the future Fabs.

Wow, I've really been out of the loop. Although I'm honestly not surprised I'm stills sad to see Raspofabs go, and wish him the utmost success in his future endeavors. ps. Did we ever find out what his "Super Secret Project" was about?

I don't imagine too much work on a job application was needed! Fabs is an obvious talent and his portfolio would have spoken for itself.
Congratulations on your new role, Fabs. I'm curious - how hard did 22Cans try to keep you? Did they offer anything particularly tempting?

No reason not to. I still want Godus to be what we set out for it to be, I just have more exciting things to do (I'm going to be working on VR stuff).

Though I hear that it's coming on really well. Richard is doing work on it right now (he works too hard) and it sounds like its going to go to test sometime in the next week.
