Thanks. Personally I'm trying to avoid the teasers for right now though.

Not a film trailer, but...

Thanks. Personally I'm trying to avoid the teasers for right now though. Funnily enough I love spoilers and teasers, I have this conversation friends, where I try not to do spoilers for others but love hearing them myself, I don't find they affect my enjoyment of the finish article in the slightest, but appreciate how others can be the polar opposite.

Another trailer of the same thing, but more of the cinematic one. (Yes, I can't stop myself)

I have nothing against trailers in general, I like watching them sometimes. But right now I am holding out on Star Wars, Avengers and Jurassic World and the like. I've been waiting on those for so long that I don't want to spoil the built up excitement and ruin the surprise. After all you can only watch a movie for the first time once.
That said, for movies that don't have an established canon yet, a trailer can be an excellent tool to find out if a movie mightbe of interest. Though on more than one occassion I have been majorly let down by a movie due to expectations that were established by a trailer. But then again I have been underimpressed by just as many movies for which I had not watched a trailer.

As a general rule I avoid trailers because once you see 5 or so you feel like you've seen the whole movie but with Star Wars and Batman versus Superman I am so desperate to see what they look like I cant resist.

Isn't it strange how we differ in spoilers for games and films, I suppose the interactively of games mean you'll never play it exactly how it's preview/played. But we actively seek out as much "spoilers" for a upcoming game as we can with no qualms about it.

I should probably add the dawn of justice trailer to the list: Watch the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer! www.ign.com/videos/2015/04/17/batman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice-trailer-1

Interestingly, I don't remember good trailers for movies, though there are lots of very nice cinematic trailers for games. The first BioShock one, for example.

Another trailer of the same thing, but more of the cinematic one. (Yes, I can't stop myself) That dungeons 2 game seems interesting and renewing the D&K gender. Am going to have a look at it. : )

Am going to have a look at it. : ) BTW, Dungeons 1 was heavily criticized because it was too bold of an experiment (unhtinkable for a publishers we see everyday, right?). This is why I love Kalypso, the publisher/developer (they really ARE involved in the making of the game). And I like them even more because they accepted and took in consideration all the feedback they got to make the second one - an believe me, they did it well.

Does anyone like watching the "....next time on...." On TV shows? I absolutely HATE those! I don't want to see any spoilers for something that I'm gonna have to wait a whole week for while I just finished watching an episode of a show and I really want to see the next episode right away. It's like pouring salt in a wound. Likewise I detest the "Previously on..." crap they put in the start of episodes. The biggest problem I have with those is that they are too fucking lazy to remove them from the episodes before they put them on DVD or Bluray. When I watch a show I tend to watch one ep after the other. I don't need to see what was on the previous episode because I just bloody watched it. It just wastes 40 seconds of my time with every episode I watch. Furthermore, who cares what was on the previous episode! I want to watch THIS episode right now, that is why I put the son of a bitch on!

I find it very interesting how different people react to it.
