Apparently the Eurogamer article has nothing to do with Godus, it's been moved to the Kickstarter subforum on Steam. I'm curious who gave it the move, and if they are working upon old orders or current company policy. If Colin's prior behavior in locking a thread to avoid having to respond to inconvenient posts is anything to go by, the current company policy seems to be a more selective version of the "old orders".

I thought they'd stopped this bollocks? We were all getting along so nicely. I believe Colin was the one to restart the censorship by locking an update topic(the only one ever locked) to avoid responding to Digital Jam's post about the "upvote" nonsense being bandied around. As for Simon, scroll down a bit here and have a look-see at what essentially amounts to him mocking the community about refunds and the state of the game.

The only thing that surprises me, is that this is surprising to anyone. Steam is a platform to make money, they will continue to censor till the cows come home, to make a buck. They don't care about fair or right and wrong, they care about money. If you want friends who care, come here or other non 22cans/Steam boards.
Such as life. Such as 22cans.

Seems like their system is still trying to boot with a faulty BIOS.

Sofar they have givin us no reasons to stop our negative vibes. In fact, ....they keep stirring it up themselves. We need to be vocal at every single release (by 22cons) and keep reminding people of "Godus" and the debacle. They will throw the towel and go away at one point...
If it is bad advertising they want, they can get it.

Back to the topic of refunds: steamcommunity.com/app/232810/discussions/0/541906348058614836/"Steam only issues refunds for games if you bought the game in question less than 2 weeks ago and have played it for less than 2 hours." Unless the developer has some integrity, in which they could be arsed to work with VALVe to offer refunds outside of that convenient window (rendered null after all the paywall timer shit in Godus) that 22cans has been passing the buck hardcore upon. Can't forget that 22cans has that option.

Discussion about the problems that may want folks to have a refund over = derailed a topic about refunds, so therefore locked. With a dodge behind Steam's refund policy as a further slap after being reminded of it already by Muir, without 22cans bothering to yet come up with any company policy other than "what others make us do". steamcommunity.com/app/232810/discussions/0/541906348058614836/#c541906989412681868I think this is the perfect point to note this from over on the Kickstarter comments (still going on ~4 months since they got some noises about the art book, and then forgotten since): He's the original CM/PR fellow brought over from Lionhead...

colin22cans acts and replies like a general PR officer employed by a regular company who's trying to portray a positive image of a product to the public. He'll only communicate if he can say something positive about the product or reduce negative publicity. However we are not the general public. We are customers, backers even (I'd go as far as using the word "investors") who feel like we were screwed over by said company. This part of the community is being neglected. It's true he probably puts together the dev updates, posts here and even conveys some questions to the dev team, but that's no different from any other company which is trying to sell an upcoming product. Sure, we have a channel that connects us backers to 22Cans and it's probably better than being completely ignored for months, but sadly there's no useful information coming through it. Just looking at the latest thread by Gmr Leon, the official reply usually resembles something one would get from and automated mailbox reply or a FAQ list. I believe paying customers deserve better. I'd like to see a return from someone who has a better understanding of development and can directly answer some questions. I wouldn't mind a reduced activity, say 1h per week on forums. I understand that developers were discouraged from visiting the forums because of all the negativity and the fact that the media shitstorm earlier this year included some of Konrad's posts which might have hurt the company (even though a lot of things were justified IMO), but it's still unfortunate that it hurt our connection with some of the people we considered our only allies inside the company. I believe we were rather welcoming and friendly towards Kondrad and Fabs, and I don't think that would change if someone reappeared. Sure a lot of people will call the game shit (Simon pretty much admitted he agrees), but fact is that the communication with backers, even if not completely non-existent, is even more shit and is probably hurting our relationship with 22Cans (© Lord Ba'al) even more, since more time is spent analysing the obviously PR ( bullshit meant for the general public) answers provided by Colin and Simon which don't even get answered, than about the actual game. Is there any chance of someone like Konrad returning, who'd be willing to discuss development here?

It is hard to consider there any possibility of feedback being brought on board when 22cans appears more willing to shirk away and hide from anything that has a hint of what 22cans already knows about the game - people don't like the current incarnation on it, while Combat is potentially not going to do much.
It is clear by now that there's a difference between PR and CM, and lately there hasn't been any attempt at the latter, no real attempt to bring on feedback.
Because if they WERE actually looking for feedback they have been willingly blinding themselves to some of the greatest sources around.
"Your game sux!"
22cans, instead of running from that and similar comments with locked threads - or deleting and then lying about the comment as they previous handled feedback they didn't want to hear - would have instead gone with the Big Three of turning a grump thread into usable feedback:
"I am sorry you don't like the game, but are there any parts that you do like?"
"Of the parts you don't like, why don't you like them?"
"If you wouldn't mind, could you please go into depth about how you think those parts could be better?"

Something weird is going on over on the steam forums. All of the sub forums have just disappeared. I've looked in my post history and all the posts i've made to any of these sub forums have also now gone missing (or been deleted).
Is this intentional? or has something broke that needs fixing? conspiracy theorists, start your engines.

if thats true, then i'm surprised just how flaky the steam message boards are, it is practically the largest platform for games on the PC, you would expect it to hold together a bit better than this. But it looks like your right, some of the sub forums are back online.

Well they are still only partially back online, here is what the sub forums look like at the mo' weird that its not broke for you, maybe its a regional thing? Nope. Seems to have been an intentional change, since every other Steam forum is working perfectly and the remaining sub-forums are arranged in too convenient an order. Edit: Now the feedback section is back. "colin22cans colin22cans 22Cans staff 119 May 29, 2015 at 7:02am 53 minutes ago". That explains it.

Interesting, so now they have limited posting to only users that own Godus How does that work, I've got it installed on my phone, but guess i'd have to purchase a copy for the PC if I wanted to post on the steam forum now. (that ain't gonna happen)

Of numerous other threads I've been watching, the only ones that report "This item was moved or deleted." are the ones that come from the Godus forums.
There are also no threads made upon the Steam Community about this doing the same to other forums, or the forums being down, as is usual when this happens. Usually when the Steam Community has forum server problems it's either all forums broken or none for any given game.
Gameplay Feedback & Suggestions Seems to have come back compared to those screenshots.
The rest are still missing:
