Just to let everyone know when the media is going to start sniffing around for certain based upon yet more claims of when to expect Godus to finally be what people were sold, and how Peter's again thrown his own dev team under the bus: “My hope is that in six to nine months time, people start to finally see the game they really did pledge for. That will be two to three years into development but that’s kind of what it takes when you do an original game. I wish it didn’t. Up until mid January, every single moment of this company was dedicated to Godus.” www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/feb/13/peter-molyneux-game-designer-interview-godusFour to seven more months are left for 22cans before the media's going to really start calling in on that claim - which does involve Peter being a bit more honest than usual about what is normal development time for an original game. It also involves him being quite honest about where development priorities are set at 22cans. What will the media have seen in the meanwhile from that claim to "finally see the game they really did pledge for"? No pressure with that "full development" team, eh?

I find it bizarre that I have more anticipation for the resumption of media questioning, than I do for the final release of the game in question.
It's vastly more interesting watching all this play out, I feel like I'm watching a real life soap opera, with various twisting plot lines all running towards a glorious culmination of catastrophe or redemption. The stage is set, the actors are in costume all playing their parts. The first act is over and we await patiently the drawing of the curtain ...

Peter will just kick the can down the road again with bogus claims that he couldn't have done it any faster and that all the people working on Betrayal were surplus to requirements.
