It's probably the next sprint after combat actually works.

It says it's not being worked on yet. Im really worried mobile will only be the instanced battles we saw on the early pc release and not any of the perpetual content promised in terms of Hubworld and Jupiter.

Has anyone bothered asking on Steam if Godus' story is going to be written by James Leach? Seems like something rather serious for them to dodge around.

I think Konrad confirmed a while back that Hubworld is, for all intents and purposes, no longer an option.

Konrad has written some story and James leach reviewed it and ok'd it. 22cans believe this meets the promise for James to write the story while many of us consider that inadequate. Also Konrad's sorry so far doesn't conform to what I would consider a story it's more background to an actual story.

It is probably very helpful to ignore most of what Aynen and Muir say on the Steam forums, since it appears that they are using their position to troll and antagonise Godus customers to create an even bigger mess for 22cans. They enfarce fake rules, they post fake information, they obviously hide disfavourable discussions, they completely lie directly to people, they're the features of the how to NOT PR thread, and so far they've been snide about how they've done the whole thing. If they weren't trying to deep cover discredit 22cans then they should go have a think. Which makes this post fecking hilarious:steamcommunity.com/app/232810/discussions/0/558747922935187079/#c558747922958857150(Archived, ) I stick around as a Mod for a few reasons, but the two main ones are: - I'm currently a student in game development and programming. Being a forum moderator gives me CS and PR experience which will come in useful as I start making and releasing games and applications of my own.
- I enjoy helping people. Being a moderator means that not only am I in a better position to be able to help other players with their questions, but I'm also helping 22Cans out by doing this job so that they can concentrate more on making the game.
Being a moderator does mean facing a lot of negativity and learning to deal with it in a constructive and consistent way. I'm still learning and I'm aware that I often don't deal with things on here consistently. But I do try. In some ways it's fun, in other ways not so much. As far as developer presence on here... Sam is by far the most noticeable presence in the forums. There were other devs who posted here from time to time (Jack, Fabs, Feanix, Matthew) being a few examples), but sadly they've stopped doing so, for whatever reasons. Here are some common sense forum moderation principles (READ: How To Be A Good Moderator):www.communityspark.com/the-real-purpose-of-forum-moderators-revealed/To note, when they mention "free speech" it is a forum classification between the three major types, free/structured/policed - and free speech in a forum context has generally meant no forbidden topics in context to the forum itself. In terms of PR policy - it means that there are no questions that will make PR entirely shut down, particularly in context to details of questions answered previously. Even if that statement is "you are the fucking worst" [sic]: (This exchange is a bit priceless, in that one of the Chucklefish moderators will try to claim that citing something posted from a business contact is "creepy". Yes - I am the same fellow who advised the Code Avarice kids to separate their personal and business Twitters as they have done since, cited here and elsewhere - linking this one since it's someone I met through that whole thing - I also have to offer 22cans at least some of that advice.) Promoting discussion is usually best when you take the LEAST amount of action possible - when people can see you exercise any moderator action justly, they'll understand and it will be something that shouldn't be hidden away like taking someone off in the night. Just making a member of the community "disappear" rather than put them in time-out, evidence for which not required to be known but just remove them with a proclamation when they inconvenience you enough...we're just waiting for the next of us to get our poster tacked up onto the wall. This is why the Steam forum, which is routinely exposed to MILLIONS more concurrent users, is often deader than this one. It has been moderated to near-death. Was this what 22cans was looking for? If not, then they need to have a good think. Right now I'm not sure what they're supposed to be doing...except that to some of the Godus customers it's not amusing them at all. Mmmmkay...so now with all of those customers pissed off, who are then going to be Peter Molyneux's customers? What is it going to take to get discussion and involvement going on detailing how some of these PR blunders clearly are not working? Why are some of the young'ins tho thenthitive that they would have been Usenet chow? If the creators of Might & Magic 6 were as thin-skinned, there would have never been a 7 (still, that one dungeon...F*** THEM!) What are customers to believe NOW? Not currently in the plans or currently being worked upon but I can't say the details because an NDA covers something I'm already talking about? Is 22cans TRYING to look even more horrible? Is this part of the crying act? I am seriously concerned now. Should I get some popcorn or call for an intervention?
