Haha! Oh god this is priceless! And to make it even funnier he is being replaced by an intern of all people. Now don't get me wrong, interns are everywhere. We even have them where I work. Also, the video game industry is difficult to get into, and any little helps for students so I wish the kid the best. HOWEVER, the fact that they are putting someone with so little experience onto the project shows just how little they care for Godus

Ho-boy, yeah things are falling apart when the interns are a majority working on your flagship title.
So, the company breakdown is; 22Cans;Curiosity, 14Steps:The Trail, and 6Interns:Godus.

Looks like anyone can be a director these days regardless of their level of experience...

Looks like anyone can be a director these days regardless of their level of experience... Molyneux has clearly shown that experience counts for jack-shit in this industry.

I hadn't realised that 22Cans was Pavle's first job (much like this new guy Ryan who is also coming in completely green). He says Godus is being left in the hands of "Richard and Ryan" - presumably Ryan the intern and Richard Williams, who also has very limited industry experience and has been at 22Cans for about 4 months.
No idea what to make of "Flavourworks" but will be interesting to see what those guys get up to.

Looks like anyone can be a director these days regardless of their level of experience... When it's your own company you can give yourself whatever title you like! It doesn't mean anything if it's not an incorporated company. There's a Flavourworks Limited listed with Companies House, incorporated on 19/01/2015 under the name Temple Games Limited. On 11/05/2015 (4 days ago) it changed its name to Flavourworks Limited. There are two shareholders and two directors, and none of these people are Jack or Pavle. To be honest it doesn't look like this company has anything to do with either of them...

"Flavourworks" Sounds like a culinary company or something related. What have they stated is the company mission? (sorry, at work on my cell, so limited interwebz) And I totally predicted it was going to be another 22Cans alum.

Guys... don't get me wrong.. knowing Jack's track record I'm skeptical too...
But maybe Jack has learned exactly what not to do with a company during his time at 22Cants?
I doubt I'll ever buy one of his games... but I'm not willing to write off him or his smarmy-named company until I see what they develop now that they are free of PM (hopefully they are free... heh... hope PM isn't an angel investor or something).
Best of luck to all involved. Hopefully you break the mould and make something you can be proud of (heaven knows that wasn't Godus).

Maybe i will be surprised but i suppose that they will develop the kind of games that i don't want to play.
1. His speach was about "Mission: Jack Attridge – Innovative Design For The Masses" - sounds familiar. Sounds like what Molyneux was talking about the last three years. It lead to dumbed down games for mobile masses and "new" ways to monetize them.
2. The company name sounds like Candy Crush, Moshi Monsters and pink bubbles
3. I am very sure that the pink bubbles and the sound they made are the part of the Godus design Jack contributed (i wouldn't expect the next FPS Shooter or hardcore strategy game).
Doesn't mean that it's a bad business decision. I don't like those kind of games very much. But hey, that's ok - it's not my money. So i wish him the best.
Is there a video of the speach to look at?

Perhaps there should be a club, something like 22cans Alums Anonymous where former repressed employees could have meetings to pick each other up and talk about their feelings.

Ho-boy, yeah things are falling apart when the interns are a majority working on your flagship title. So, the company breakdown is; 22Cans;Curiosity, 14Steps:The Trail, and 6Interns:Godus. Speaking of breakdowns... 22cans/14steps whatever you want to call it: remains largely the original team. A few producers, a tech officer, financial guy, and community relations people have left, but it still appears to be mostly the same from what we can tell. Godus' downsized team, however... Original cast: Konrad Pavle Fabs QA guys Is now: Konrad Richard Ryan QA guys Mystery artist (Annah?) They've successfully tossed out any of the guys with extended experience on Godus and replaced them with a couple new hires and an intern. Let's also keep in mind that probably the most experienced people now working on the project (as far as I'm aware, sorry if I'm understating anyone's experience here) have been reduced to one, and that's probably the QA lead, Martin. Prior to that would have been Fabs and Martin, I think, but that's no longer relevant to the current situation. Basically, Godus has become 22cans' lifeline that they lost interest in and are willing to toss inexperienced people into the grinder to with all the built-up bad reputation from their mismanagement, and really, that's just a gross way to introduce people into the industry. Any other company might throw interns at casual games too, but few I think would throw them into preexisting ones with such a terrible reputation as Godus. They'd just have them make a new crappy one for awhile, throw them out, and say, "Well at least you got some experience!"

It sucks to sleep, you miss out on all the excitement.
I want to say we called it. More rats off the ship. Calling him a rat is a bit unfair but the idea is of course something is wrong with the ship and people want out.
This is my first thread today but have Aynen and Muir been active on the forums saying the development is still in full flight?

Well good luck then to Pavle for his next projects, and welcome to Ryan for his internship. We still don't know how the game has progressed. What's next there ? Combat, then multiplayer, then Hubworld ? Am not sure that combat thing s going to be that great, if it's only about warbands and archers... anyway, that's another thread...
