Hi, I bought GODUS on Steam Early Access. Universe Sim looks really interesting but I didn't back it because of *cough* GODUS. I am interested to hear more and when the community here gives it the big seal of approval I'll jump in. I too bought Godus through Early Access... The Universim won't go down that road, I can tell you that much. We're not in it to "think about the money" as Peter Molyneux said. We just want to make a fun game that people like, and the one that we've always wanted to play.

Hello, I'm a 30 year old viking ( the Swedish kind) called Erik who backed Universim on KS. Although I didn't back Godus during KS, since I backed some other games about the same time(Which I'm really grateful for now), I've followed the discussion both on Steam and here quite much. Looks like you have quite a nice community going on here.

We just want to make a fun game that people like, and the one that we've always wanted to play. That is a very healthy development attitude to have. What Peter and others forgot from the Bullfrog days is that when you make a good game the sales and money will naturally follow. That is the most sure way to look towards success, as trying to cash in on popularity like YouTube Let's Play meme sales is far more risky and might not exactly give you the audience you desire in the long-term. Peter has since become Electronic Arts, crushing the dreams of developers who work for him.

Hope to see/read more of you.
