I just want Bethesda to announce Fallout 4 - all signs point to that happening.

I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.

Is there any chance for a Portal 3?

Is there any chance for a Portal 3? I'm hoping they are holding off for the same reason Gearbox is with more Borderlands-ish stuffs.

I think they've held off Portal 3 for long enough. What reason could there be? Just look at it. E3, Portal 3. It's like a match made in heaven!

My husband would probably die too.. it would be like an episode of GoT, but with Power Armor... and Gatling guns. I would be pretty psyched by it. I was seriously heavily involved with the Fallout 4 ARG hoax a couple years ago - I spent many sleepless nights monitoring all manner of sources, and sleuthing all the clues with the IRC group taking on the brunt of the investigation. It was pretty fun and exciting just doing that, and quite disappointing - tho we long held onto the belief it was a hoax - when it finally was revealed to be false. I have put many, many hours into all the Fallout games in the series since the first original release. This would make my year.

I have been trying to post about this for hours now (so I would have beat Yukio ou to the punch) but stubbornly insisted that it be on my War Room boards, because that's the exact reason why I wanted one. I actually am unable to view the site on my phone (dammit) so I can't see when the timer runs out. I may have to take time off work tomorrow. Lol. Squee!!

I'll direct all of my absurd excitement toward your fallout War Room! yay!

I can't understand why E3 is not over the weekend, and why the first Press Conference - Bethesda - is at 7pm Pacific tonight. That makes no sense to me to have a conference like this take place on weekdays, and important announcements happen so late at night. Who plans this crap?

The people that attend E3 are supposed to be professionals (developers and media reps), even if the crowd doesn't act like it, so it makes sense for it to happen during actual working days. Dunno about the whole 7pm thing, though. Everyone else's conference is at a more normal time. Bethesda conference was excellent, btw.

It's been a long time since I bought - or played - a straight up shooter, but that looked incredible.

I don't see hell in it, so still no. Hell will come, otherwise it wouldn't be Doom.

I don't see hell in it, so still no. The Bethesda conference had a segment with hell in it.
