Yes. The mobile version will have gems. And the PC version doesn't. Because 22Cans listens to the backers requests.
And when the PC backers see that the final game is near unplayable compared to the mobile version, they will complain that the lack of a gem store creates an imbalance between the platforms...
And lo, did 22Cans hear their laments, and bestowed upon them the gift of a gem store.
"Truly does 22Cans hear us and respond!" spake the PC player.
And balance was restored.

It is what they want all along. The memory of backers will be long gone at some point and so the wartered down PC version will become a full fledged yogurt store.

Did you know...?
Digging for gems is mentioned in the first P&J development video as a feature of Dungeon Keeper they intend to keep.
Who picked up on that back then?!

Gems in Dungeon Keeper are exact opposite of F2P gems. I don't even want to explain why as it's evident.

Yes, it seems in every case Peter chooses to take the exact opposite lesson from what is really suggested or enjoyed.

Yes, it seems in every case Peter chooses to take the exact opposite lesson from what is really suggested or enjoyed. What Peter has done her is to take every aspect of game play and remove it from his games, then take everything that was left over and create godus.
