Crytivo Games release The Universim's Visual Prototype By Simon PriestPlanetary God-game The Universim from Crytivo Games is still well in the works but they've decided everyone can now have a little play around with their Visual Prototype, which has been available to backers for a while. This prototype was a "small internal build" purely to showcase the "design and overall mood" of The Universim, and it doesn't contain any actual gameplay. An Alpha build is due later this year. "This prototype will give you a good sense of the overall mood of the game, and even allow you to discover a few easter eggs hidden around the planet," reads the Indie DB description of the prototype. The studio isn't offering any technical support for this as it was only meant for internal use. The Visual Prototype is just over 85MB and can be downloaded here. The studio continues to crowd-fund the project through the official website for The Universim. At $450k we unlock a live news system and a planet editor, and we're not that far off at $429,570 as of press time.
