I think you should contact support. The problem is, Windows 7 key is not a valid Windows 10 key, so you have to turn one into the other.

What I have is a Win 10 key, I think. After I did the upgrade I downloaded a program that let me pull up the key and I took a photo up it. I just did not get the full line so I could see where it said Win 10, but I remember it said Win 10. SO I am pretty sure I took a picture of the correct lines. Worse case I will just re-install WIn 7 and upgrade and confirm it activated again and then take another picture of the key.

It's looking like I have a good reason to be scared of Windows 10.

I have been using it for a couple weeks not. Beside the set-up issues I had I have not had any issues since I have done a clean upgrade. Boots up and shuts down really quickly, runs smoothly and no crashes. Only issue I have seen seems to be with flash, but that is haveter having the flash game open a long time and from what I hear flash can be crap anyway.

You guys are making me feel old with my windows 7. Old? Phh, i have Vista still. I still have a PC running XP, though I haven't booted it up in a few months. I used it for media streaming, but I got a Smart TV connected to the network now.

The only versions of Windows I've ever run are 3.1, 7, and 10.

control panel was done right in XP, everything was in the correct place, now its all over the place, its a little better in win 10, but XP was still the best. wish MS wouldn't change things just to make things new. Once its working, leave it the heck alone!

Well, the reason I've switched to Win10 is due to the start menu given back to the users. And as Win7's optimisation was proving to be more and more inadequate...
