You know I actually felt sorry for Microsoft before today. They used to be the biggest tech company in the world and now they are the third biggest. We need competition, we want three big brands challenging each other to be better. I want Microsoft to push Google and Apple to be better but this is absolute bullshit. I don't want my computer phoning home and reporting what software I have installed. It's not even that I have a lot of pirated games, I haven't bothered with those is years. But I want to know that I can play a pirated game if I want on my own computer without my operating system informing on me. After all if it can report on the software I'm running what else can it report on?

Microsoft is behind companies like Amazon, IBM, HP, Apple and Samsung. Third largest in market value, though.
